I’ve been on the hunt for the best work out headphones and when I tell you I’ve been running back and forth to Best Buy three times in the past two weeks. These are the best ones to purchase because of the research I did for the best recommended ones in the market after my last two attempts at finding “the one” mind you, I’m not an electronics person but I was looking to become physically healthy again and needed to find the right tools that will help me make it fun. I first purchased the Beats by Dre fit pro - I brought them to the gym and everything was fine at first but I noticed they hurt my ears because the buds that pop in are so thick and it always felt like it would fall out of my ears. After the second time in the gym, the right side completely stopped working and I had to return them. However, I did really like the noise cancelling feature and base in them. They weren’t waterproof as I had thought or they may have been defective. Fortunately I returned them and purchased the AirPod pros 3rd generation. I thought they would be better because I have an iPhone and the sound was great once you customize it but it would literally NOT fit in my ear/it kept popping out and I know I could’ve ordered these silicone tips to make them fit but it’s so inconvenient to have to carry two separate cases and pop the silicone on and off every time I use them. Plus, someone else said even with them on they still wouldn’t stay put. At my wits end, I looked on TikTok what everyone recommended and compared - I somehow landed on reviews for these Sony headphones and I’m glad I took a chance. I also recommend you look at the videos to get a more detailed review on them. I took them to the gym and they stayed put! Yes I also sweat on them because I was running and walking on the treadmill for 60 minutes straight and they are still working. They are easy to clean because the padding is a harder leather like material and they are soo soft! It’s like a cloud over my ears. I love that it also folds together, and is adjustable - it hugs your head nice and snug without giving you a headache. The noise cancellation on them is impeccable! I can barely hear anything else outside of them when I turn them on and I find the “touchscreen-like” controls on the side useful instead of having to tap a button and being unsure if they were pushed hard enough. It makes running on the treadmill so much easier as well as keeping them clean when my hands are sweaty. I love how I can swipe in different ways to move the controls (Up=louder/Down=lower volume/double tap=pause/swipe right&left two times skips songs or goes forward) and the most useful control is covering your ear over the headphone and it will disable the noise cancellation if someone/something needs your immediate attention. The battery life lasts so long. I was using them for an hour and they are still at full battery. It doesn’t take long to charge them either! I love that these headphones look aesthetically pleasing it comes in black and grey (I bought the grey because they also look beige/nude/neutral colored to me) it’s the right balance between not too skinny & not too bulky. They come with their own protective case and a bunch of extra things like a plug for an airplane, a wire if you want to connect it to your phone I think, and it’s charging cable. I recommend these headphones completely as I have also found out my supervisor has the same ones but in the color black which is awesome and makes me feel like I made the right choice. I definitely won’t be going back to Best Buy for a return on these. I recommend you always purchase the coverage on any headphones you buy so that you’re covered if you buy any that just don’t work for you. Some prefer this over the AirPod Max because of the case, quality, and it looks better overall. Mind you the AirPod Max is $400+

I was wanting to buy these headphones for a while and I’m so happy I did. They are so amazing and I love the way they look especially the rose gold accents. The sound quality is also amazing I listen to a lot of metal/oldies and my favorite songs sound wayyyy better now. The battery life on them are also great they last quite a long time. It’s also super easy to connect and disconnect them. I mostly use these when I’m painting or cleaning so I have no issues with it slipping off my head. One of the biggest concern I have was if they hurt your ears and I’m happy to see that I can wear them for basically a whole day straight and not have any ear fatigue. Overall 100% recommend! ( my dog seems so like them too)

They say you get what you paid for, and every dollar spent on this headset was worth it friend! It is top-tier for everyday life, the noise cancellation is unmatched! You see lips moving and that’s how you know the person standing in front of you is talking. This Sony WH-1000XM4 is the way to go if you’ve been contemplating and debating friend. The combination of high-quality Bluetooth codecs, great sound, improved noise canceling, amazing battery life, and smart features like auto pause and Bluetooth multipoint allowing you to connect to two devices at once is a feature you didn’t know you were missing in your life until you have it. What sealed the purchase for me was the ear cup padding (it’s giving vegan) translate that how you desire. My previous headset pressed against my earlobes and gave me a headache after an hour. These Sony ear cup paddings surround the ear kinda like a newborn pillow lounger! I don’t like to leave reviews (ever) but I’ll spend hours reading reviews on a product I’m debating on. This is me paying it forward for all the reviewers that have helped me with past purchases.

The main detriment is less than stellar connectivity options. It includes Sony's LDAC, but doesn't have any low-latency codecs.

So I had done some extensive research about these headphones because I wasn’t sure if I wanted this model or the newer X5 ones. I even considered getting the Apple headphones for a split second. Thankfully I came across someone who actually purchased these ones and let me try them on. The ones on display were a bit stretched out from constant try-ons but the person’s headphone’s were in perfect condition. Based on that experience I decided that the X4 were the most optimal choice. Not only because they’re comfortable all around, from the ears to the headband (something Apple’s didn’t have), but also the quality sound, the app where you can change the settings depending on the listening experience you wish to have based on the music you’re listening to. Although the touch feature for the controls can take a bit to get a hang of, they’re not an issue to me. Ever since my purchase I can’t stop wearing them and remembering music I want to listen to specifically with the headphones! 20/10 recommend

I honestly can't suggest these headphones enough, GET THEM, and if you dont like them for the first week then return them. Be Warned They will bring a smile to your face because they bring Life back into your music. IMPORTANT: I suggest to close your eyes when using them, it elevates the experience. Clarity: 10/10 Based on the song, you'll probably have an out of body experience when using these headphones. Base: 9/10 Change default settings for more base if need be. The settings you chose will make you hear things you didn't Noise Canceling: 10/10 Better than bose, without the pain. Battery: 10/10 Charge for 10-30 minutes get hours of playback. Overall: 10/10 Yet another BestBuy.

These headphones are UNREAL!! Off the bat, I love the bass and sound quality. I've had them for about a year now. They are so comfortable; I can wear them for long periods of times. Good for going to the gym, running errands, or just listening to music. The ANC noise cancellation is great. There is an app compatible with most phones that can be used to change audio settings and more! I would recommend 9/10!

Really good quality. Can block out background noise very well. Was on a plane using them and I could not hear the sound of the plane. A little expensive but these headphones are amazing so worth the price. I can tell they will last years. Already lasted a year and a half at this point.

The headphones connect automatically to your main device and provides a seamless listening experience. I've noticed a major difference between using these noise cancelling headphones and everyday earbuds, Sony is way better and I often hear notes in songs I didn't hear before. I also love being able to control the volume without taking out my phone. 8 months later, they still work like brand new. When extended they fit comfortably over my thick 4c hair. My only con is the process for connecting to new devices can be annoying. I never used the Sony app and deleted it after a couple weeks.

I love these. The battery last so long, they’re comfortable to wear for hours. I don’t have to worry about them getting scratched, they’re plastic, so they’re very durable. I wear them to study or to go to the gym… the sound quality is to die for and I can gladly mute the world around me.

I haven’t owned a pair of headphones since the original beats studios came out, yes the ones that were once $400, attached to a wire, and required a battery in the headset to work. Headphones have come a long way since then, so I decided to pull the plug on these. I was in between these, the studios, or the Bose. What ultimately led to my final decision was the way the ear cups of the headphones sat on my ear, and the total battery life. I prefer my ears to sit inside rather than the piece sitting on my ears. I’ve tried the other headphones, bought a pair of studios for my daughter since they were on sale and I’ve tried them out in comparison to the Sonys, I’m glad I went with the Sonys. My ears sat more comfortably inside, and the color alongside the case is very nice. Overall sound quality is awesome, they drown out noise really well and I love that there’s an app where you can customize how you want certain music to play. I have seen these go on sale from time to time, but I couldn’t wait, I needed something for studying. They last extremely long without me having to charge frequently which is a big plus. The case itself isn’t large either, it’s more flat which I love in comparison to the bulky round beats case. Overall quality of these in comparison to the beats is way better in my opinion.

I’ll start by saying I’m not an audiophile by any stretch but also share I’m highly selective and thoroughly test/research any consumer electronic device before purchasing. I’ve been a Bose, Beats, Master & Dynamic, Apple and Sony user throughout the years. I would place these headphones at the top of the list between all of those brands. The sound, features and build quality check nearly every box. I personally believe this model is even superior to the newer 1000xm-5. I sampled both prior to purchase and believe the drivers and foldable design make these the better purchase. Thank you Sony for continuing to raise the bar and still provide outstanding value. Easy recommendation if you’re in the market for a new pair of over ear headphones.

The noise cancelling feature has been a life saver. I love that you can customize to your daily routine. Comfortable to wear. Battery life lasts a good amount of time. Charges quickly.

I really like the comfortability and battery life of these headphones. The sound quality is very good. The noise cancelling is excellent outdoors and in the office. It's great to drown out the co-worker that has a conversation so loud its almost uncomfortable at 50 ft away. The app to connect and control works well on Android.

Best gift I could ever give myself! I did a lot of research on headphones to see which one I should buy & I’m glad I went with these! The noise cancelling on these headphones are hands down the best there is & the main winner to these! Once the noise cancelling comes on, it’s like you’re in your own concert or lil world. Love that it has the feature of when you start speaking to someone it will automatically pause & uses its microphone to listen to the background so that you don’t have to waste time pausing or taking off the headphones. Not to mention the feature of cupping on to one side of the earphone & it will pause your music so you can’t listen in around you! Can’t forget it comes with a small compact carrying case to store them & all the accessories such as the charger & awesome attachment to use on an airplane! There’s many more features I’m forgetting, do the research & promise they won’t disappoint!

These are the best headphones out there, have tried the bose as well but i believe these are the ones that take the cake. The build the design is 100. The sound is premium i think with bose they do have a slightly higher quality but i feel these have a better build and strong enough for running, gym and everyday use. Its storage case is so great you can take it anywhere and love that the headphones can fold and be taken anywhere, recorded for sure.
