The Sony over the ear headphones are the first set I have had in many years. The big plus is the sound! Also, I was never a fan of those earbuds shoved into my ear! The only downside with over the ear headphones is you have to lie on your back and cannot drive with them!

My only gripe is switching from phone to laptop or iPad is not very simple. If you only need for a phone, this isn't an issue for you. Other than that, love this set.

Can't ask for more for a wireless headset. The bluetooth stream is crisp, excellent for hands-free calling.

Noise cancelling head phones are expensive. I was pleasantly surprised upon using them for the first time as to how well they did at cancelling the noise out even though that's not what they're marketed for. Were they perfect? Of course not, but again that's not what they're marketed as/for.
