Sound on this speaker is decent. Bass is a little lacking compared to Bose sound link. Works well as chromecast enable speaker for whole home wifi audio!

I like these speakers. Wish they had more punch!!! I bought them to complement the Sony HD 4k TV and sound bar with subwoofer. But the set works well together when viewing native 4k content movies.

I bought this wireless speaker and a sound bar following advice at Best Buy to extend sound from tv. I got it and the sound bar to play music but not to do what I bought it for so I returned it.

Sound is good , my only beef is that too often the wireless speakers will lose connection and have to be set up all over again

I have two of the h.ear go speakers, which I like (although I would love if they had airplay), so I figured I would bite the bullet and get the X5 to provide a base unit so to speak for the two hgos. Unfortunetly, the X5 just isn't that much stronger in terms of sound or versatility. Having had the X7, X77, and the classic RDP-XA700 (the sound from that was beautiful), I guess I just had higher expectations. And the songpal app is a nightmare, its doable, but is the worst interface I have ever used.

I bought these two speakers for my recently purchased Sony soundbar. We really like the Sony products; except for the remote controls, the function buttons are too small and almost impossible to see in a dark room. But, yes I would definitely recommend these speakers!

works well with HT-NT5 soundbar. Use a wired internet connection to get latest speaker software. Connection should then be able to be made thru bluetooth.

I connected two of these speakers to a Sony - 2.1-channel Hi-res Soundbar System With Wireless Subwoofer And Digital Amplifier via bluetooth. My problem is that when I'm closer to these speakers, I only hear the background sounds and not the primary sound feed. With my other surround sound system, I was able to hear the speech as well as the background sound. I haven't tried to link them to my iPhone. They might work better than when linked to the surround system.

Great Sound quality. It has A deep bass and its good speaker for gaming.

I bought two of this for my smart TV. I hooked them up to the ARC HDMI port and pair them as stereo. It lacks optical audio input but has a 3.5mm input. Very happy with my purchase.

Great addition to my Sony wireless soundbar! They do require power though so they will need to be plugged into an outlet so they're not 100% wireless. They connect to system over wifi so there's no speaker wire needed.

I had been eyeing these speakers to go along with the Sony sound bar that I bought for more than a year. When the price dropped on them I scooped 2 of these up. Once I paired them up with my sound bar for surround sound in my living room I was left with more to desire. They aren’t quite as loud as I thought they would be. I’ve gone into my setting and adjusted the volume and they are good but not great.

I like the speakers but the volume cannot be adjusted sseparately from the volume of the soundbar.

At first I was a little disappointed with the sound I was getting, then I made a few adjustments which included the update needed for my 65 in Sony 4K TV. Now my speakers, including my soundbar also Sony. Sound fantastic.

Easy to set up and configure for full surround sound. Only negative is that they disconnect you from Bluetooth connection making it unable to do both surround and music from an ap. Just have to switch manually.

The speaker itself sounds fantastic, wouldn't recommend it for additional speakers

Good back speakers. We had to return them as they would not connect with our new sound bar.

We bought two of these speakers on the recommendation of the salesman to go with the new speaker we were buying from him. Set up was pretty easy. The directions were easy to follow, and I'm not that tech suave. It kept saying that the speakers should just "pop up" on my tv speaker screen but it wasn't and none of the tv speaker options gave me the option to add the speakers. I called Sony's help line and after 15 mins on hold, discovered that they were not compatible. The speaker I bought was top of the line and was considered a surround sound speaker. I feel like the guy was just trying to rake up his sales. Very misleading. THEN when I went to return it, the guy said they are great speakers and I should consider just keeping them even though he knew the reason we were returning them. Umm, I don't need to spend $400 on speakers to listen to music when I can listen to music through my new tv speaker.

The fact the I can pair it with my Sony sound bar, I am sold

Great sound for such a little speaker. Price was right as well. Would have liked to have been able to control sound remotely
