Bought it to video my daughter's wedding from a viewpoint behind the minister. Was perfect!

Well developed and thought out product. More capabilities than the GoPro competetor.

I love this camera. First it shoots 4K, its waterproof, and the 1/4in. threading lets me attach it to numerous grip heads and devices. Image is very good for a compressed signal (4:2:0 ). I call it my stunt camera because I can set it up to do the shot I wouldn't dare with my Sony FS7s. Other features such as time-lapse, long battery life and easy to use menu make this a no brainer for a great fun camera for my kit.

Love it! Use it to record sporting events and have no complaints!

This is a great camera, picks up details well at night, even the sound through the water proof case is very good.

battery life -too short! no way to plug in higher cap. battery! buy lots of batterys and in winter keep next to body heat!!!

Does everything I need it to do, picture is sharp and clear.

Bought this camera for my husband, and he is a bit of a tech enthusiast. I did compare the Sony to GoPro. Although GoPro had more gadgets, I felt the Sony name has been around longer, and servicing would be easier. Also, I have purchased Sony products in the past and have had great experience with them. Both cameras had similar ratings and similar capabilities. We took the camera on a recent trip to Hawaii and it did fantastic. My husband strapped it to his bike helmet when we did the bike ride down the crater. The camera was very steady and the pictures were clear. Excellent camera for the money spent.

I like this action cam and the ability to record in 4k, I think the rcording comes out very nice and the included software allows for decent editing. I would like to see longer battery life and the ability to use larger SD cards for longer recording.

I have had many versions of the Go Pro 4 and had over heating problems with them. The Sony action cam has been amazing in every way.

This camera is very defined, High Definition:4K!!! Yep, just all around beautiful camera and picture. I HIGHLY recommend it.

This works great on my mountain bike, and makes some great quality videos. Images are very good, and it is compact and seemingly robust.

I use five cameras together with the wrist controller. I am able to start and stop each camera as I want to in sequence.

Upgraded from my first Sony action cam. Definitely advanced features. Pricey though.

Get quality pics/videos. Easy to mount on bicycle, back pack, etc. Connecting to PC to download images is a snap.

High quality videos, downside is battery does not last long, need to buy extra battery

I was zeroing in on buying a GoPro until one of my friends told me about this camera. It did not disappont!

Nice action camera. Excellent video quality. I have used it on a couple of motorbike road trips. Bear in mind, for recording 4k videos, you will need to use a micro sdhc card (U1) with a min. of 94mb refresh rate. Also, a bit more bulkier than the gopros. Other than that, the camera is pretty good. Nice picture quality too.

Used it in only one shot so far, controlled with my iPhone. Worked great.
