The artificially added bass frequencies really chew up the sonic landscape unless the speaker is hanging (thus no reflective surface on the bottom). Also I had extreme difficulty pairing this with several devices. And yes, I know that sometimes we have to go thru the steps more than once but I'm talking about 20 times before it would eventually pair. This happened on no less than three source devices (a tablet, smartphone, PC, etc). I'd suggest to shoppers who notice things such as poorly reproduced bass frequencies look elsewhere. But it's cute, I like the size, and the controls were easy once it was paired.
