Amazing unit, tons and tons of sound with superb bass.... kids love the lights, they can be shut off, thank goodness. I use this mainly for my outdoor theatre. It streams Netflix soundtracks and pumps out the bass and treble extremely well for a compact system. Rugged construction. Perfect for the kids to take to the basketball court. Cheaper and sounds better than the Bose Soundtouch 30 (I took it back). Bluetooth works flawlessly with laptops, phones, Mac, Windows 10 (Bose doesn't). Way more bass and more room filling sound than Bose.

This speaker is the best. Gets very loud & sound quality is amazing. Has a button for extra bass also! Has led lights, NFC/Bluetooth. 5 stars!!

Purchased this item during Black Friday and very pleased with the performance so far. Big bold speaker with incredible bass sound that is loud and perfect for outdoors or while entertaining indoors for small events. I believe this is currently the best Bluetooth speaker currently on the market. It is definifintely worth the price and was grateful to grab one for the holidays at a reduced price. A must buy for party event planners or anyone who loves to play their music loud with super bass sound.

I wanted this music system for a long time,but was waiting for a price drop. It's everything i needed in a music system ,love the bluetooth especially , also the input jack for those that does not have bluetooth comes in handy. overall the sound is clean ,volume is good enough for parties and the bass i booming.

Great speaker for parties, bought this for my wedding, very easy to carry around with carry handles. Speaker can lay down or stand up and multiple of these models can be linked together wirelessly with the party chain feature. Speakers sound great, definite must for anywhere you need loud music.

Love the impedence in the woofers and the portability although it needs a 110 power source it is by far the best on the market for the size its a concert waiting to happen

This speaker is listed at about $350. However I purchased it on sale at $249 which is a more reasonable price and I honestly doubt i would have thought it was worth the $350. That being said the speaker is easy to pair, sounds great and the LED definitely add a factor of fun and whimsy. Thinking about buying a second or third speaker of the same make and model , but only when on sale at 249 or below, to use the party chain feature and throw a party and see how loud these puppies can really for. The extra bass factor actually works well and doesnt really distort the bass as much as i would have thought. The highs could sound a bit better but not sure if that’s due to positioning or room dynamics.

We wanted something portable , with multiple input ( meaning Bluetooth and cable) and LOUD! It is great!! The lights are a fun feature and the sound is clean and crisp. The only thing I wish is that is was WATERPROOF. Would hate to see what happens to the unit if left outside.

This particular boombox in my opinion is quite impressive, especially considering the price at the time of purchase ($199.99). I went to Best Buy originally to just browse around for something I could listen to at work when I noticed this beast. I stood there for a minute looking it over until a sales associate walked over, he started to explain all the features but I just wanted to hear this behemoth. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or just by accident but when he connected his phone via Bluetooth this thing came ALIVE.....everyone in the store was looking at us......it was LOUD and at the same time impressive. Had great clarity and good bass, I had to have it !!!!! The playstore app. is ok but I added Bass EQ Pro from there also and you can get ALL the low end you'll ever need. The lighting was just a bonus for me, I loved the sound and the power behind it.....and for the price I couldn't leave without it.

I've been looking for a quality speaker to enjoy my music and laptop audio. I had purchased a Bose speaker but had to return it because I had problems connecting to bluetooth. I was skeptical about purchasing this Sony speaker but after promptly receiving it the next day free of charge, hooked it up...easy assembly and directions, I was blown away with the sound quality and MAJOR bass. This speaker ROCKS!!! This was the best purchase I've made that I've been 100 percent satisfied with! I can't wait to have guest over to entertain! And the price was right! Thank you Sony!!!

Actually strolled passed this speaker in the store. Had to take a 2nd look. Sounded great!! Had the sales girl play some Sublime through it. Cranked it up and then grabbed a cart. Love this speaker. Can use your Bluetooth via phone or plug in your old iPod/ Ipad etc with a cord. My kids want one for each of them. You can sync two or more together too. Have mine in my garage. Then bring it on the back deck for outside use. Great sound. The lights make me feel like I’m back in my 20s hitting the clubs. :)

I love this speaker! It has great sound and is very loud. It is very easy to use as well. The blue tooth hooks up with ease.

Loudest, clearest, exciting best value. We got 3, 1 in each color. Lights are phenomenal like a party. Easy to use! My 12 year old has 2 in his room that, he set up himself and they work simultaneously! Our house sounds like a professional dj party! Best speakers ever owned! Bluetooth too!!

This speaker’ s extra bass is the reason I bought it and I am happy with the purchase. It’s a good speaker worth the money, though little bit bigger in size and heavy it meets the sound quality expectations at that price.

We bought this for my 13yr old son, this past Christmas and he absolutely loves everything about it! It’s the perfect gift for a teenager! He loves the light effects, the additional bass boost feature, the wireless/bluetooth feature, and the downloadable app that works with the speaker!!! Let’s just say that we were the “coolest parents” this Christmas! The quality of this speaker is better than we expected! The sound quality and bass (with the extra boost on) is awesome for home parties, and beach parties! We can’t believe how loud it is for the size! Now my 21yr old nephew wants to buy one for himself!!!!

So I went looking for a small boombox or speaker for my son's birthday party, and came out feeling like a dj. This speaker is just the right amount of power. The sound is awesome and the bass!!! I was so glad it had bluetooth. The lights give it an extra cool factor.

I absolutely love this speaker! It’s portable and gets super loud. I also like how the speaker lights up. Highly recommend. I use it for outdoor movie nights with my Epson projector mostly but also use it as a Bluetooth speaker when having friends over.

I absolutely love my speaker system! It has blue tooth so you don’t have to stay connected with a cord. The clarity of the speaker system is terrific! It has an “extra bass” option which is super fun for certain songs. It gets so loud that it is great for outdoor parties as well as indoor get togethers. It’s perfect for all occasions! And it has a couple options of you like the light show. Again, fun for certain songs and occasions. And it’s fairly light in weight so it’s easy to move around when needed. Would definitely recommend!

This speaker was amazing! I was looking for a speaker for an outside party and this speaker was perfect. It can go very loud without sounding distorted, and the light effects were a nice plus!

I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker for the back patio when I found the Sony XB7. It's easy to pair with your phone, it's very loud and the bass is pretty decent. While it's not audiophile grade it's miles above your typical portable Bluetooth speaker. The included remote control works well over a good distance and allows people to change the volume and skip songs without needing access to your phone. I'm considering buying another one to pair them in stereo mode. My only complaint is that I wish it had some sort of internal battery. As it currently needs to be plugged into an outlet to work.
