I purchased these headphones mainly for use while traveling by air. I've been disappointed with all of the other styles and types I have tried. I am so happy I purchased them. The plane from Long Beach to Boston had more children than adults. Had two very loud children in the seat in front of me. I put these headphones on and enjoyed my flight. They connected with no problem, tuned out the plane noise and the surrounding children, the battery lasted, light and surprisingly comfortable, didn't mess my hair (hee hee), and the sound was great. It was nice to be able to use the cord and switch back to Bluetooth with no effort. The bass response was there when needed while watching an action movie or listening to music. Best purchase for my needs.

These headsets are far better than the Bose ones I have. The quality of the sound is excellent and I love the extra bass. The bluetooth has no gaps ins sound and they hold a charge for a long time. Great buy.

These things are fantastic. I listen to alot of old rap that has huge bass and these things ring true. The noise canceling option is great as it blocks out everything my kids and wife are trying to tell me everytime I try to sit down. Great product. I got on black friday for 135 so do your homewook before buying any higher.

Now that Sony has two higher end models of noise canceling headphones, these are priced just right. Effective noise canceling combine with adjustable bass settings to give a complete listening experience for most music genre. Take time to use the Sony app and you can tweet bass settings to enhance listening experience.

I'm very happy with these headphones. The battery life is fantastic; the sound quality is great; and the noise canceling, while not perfect, works pretty well. My only complaint is you can't charge the headphones while using them. But since the battery life is so good, this is rarely an issue. I am a happy customer.

This is the first pair of wireless noise cancelling headphones. All I can sayy is I'm impressed. The sound is clean and clear. The bass is awesome and not rattly like it can be on some headphones. I picked these up on black Friday as the price was really to good to pass. All reviews I read were positive so I pulled the trigger on these. I totally recommend.

I had been looking for noise canceling headphones that could turn up the bass if I wanted. These fit the bill. Comfortable as I have worn the for hours. I like the ability to have the normal bass also. Pairing with two devices was easy. I also like the convenience of cabling them if the battery power is low.

These headphones fit good and are comfortable. The sound is great and the bass boost is a good option. They are easy to connect and the battery life is great even with the noise canceling on.

Good sound through the Bluetooth. Did not try the wired (cable included) yet, but the Bluetooth worked well. The voice to tell you noise canceling and bass boost on or off was a little annoying but at least you don't have to take them off to see if light is on. The bass boost is a nice Sony feature.

This is my first pair of wireless over-the-ear headphones and I love them. The bass is phenomenal and with moderate use, I've never run out of battery power. They pair very easily with multiple devices and I'd say the only drawback is the necessity to have to use the app to set certain settings.

Doesn’t work via aux cord,but works perfectly using bluetooth. Kinda bulky so looks weird on my head, but very comfortable and makes up for it with the amazing bass effect

These are great! My buddy has beats by Dre. He heard my new Sony headphones, he's jealous. I read a reviewer say these were not any good for listening to cds. I got an adapter and plugged into my pioneer receiver, sounds great! Battery life is amazing. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I have always bought Beats by Dre but I just couldn't justify the $300 plus price tag for the Wireless Studios. I got these bad boys on sale and they sound just as good, if not better than Beats. They are great for music but I think they are better for movies. I like how I can adjust the bass settings. Sometimes Beats are just too much bass. Battery life is also excellent. I hardly charge them and when I go back to them after not wearing them for a week, there is always plenty of battery to do what I need to do. Noise cancelling is also fantastic. I wear these when I am vacuuming and I sometimes cannot hear the vacuum! Great headphones!

Sound Great, feel comfortable, not too heavy, and I haven't had to charge them yet. I do charge them every week but haven't had a low battery warming yet so battery life is amazing.

I originally bought the Sony version without the bass enhancing option to replace another less expensive brand that had extra bass and sounded very good. The original Sony I bought sounded average and didn't impress me at all, so I returned it and bought The XB950N1 which was just what I wanted. An airy natural bass (when enhanced) that fit every style of music. I listened to several other well known brands and their bass sounded more like a thud. I am so glad I got this model. I can listen to it for hours, even in enhanced mode, and I never tire of the sound. Good job Sony.

I was looking for a moderately priced set of over-the-ear headphones for my daily commute into work. I didn't want to spend an excessive amount on a pair of headphones that could get damaged from the wear and tear of a daily commute. This set has been highly durable, having strong sound quality and a long battery life to date. I have worn these outside in single-digit and below temperatures without any issue. The app that can go on your phone or audio player works well and is a good tool to balance your sound. Yes, they are a bit clunky and not trendy but if you're looking for a solid set, this is the way to go.
