The overall volume may vary depending on the source content. Make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.

-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

We understand your concern about the battery life not lasting as long as expected. Several factors, like volume levels, song types, temperature, and usage conditions, can impact performance. If the speaker is used at high volumes or in extreme temperatures, the battery may drain faster. Also, Battery Care mode (which limits charging to 90%) could affect overall usage time.
