You might want to explore the equalizer settings in the Sony Music Center app to enhance the volume to your liking. As for the lossless audio, the SRS-XE300 supports LDAC, which is a codec capable of transmitting high-resolution audio over Bluetooth. While it may not be entirely lossless, LDAC provides a significantly higher quality audio experience compared to standard Bluetooth codecs.

Nice sound quality

Originally had no issues syncing with my wife's older iPod and just stopped syncing one day. i realize it claims to only sync with newer iPods, so i cant down rate it for that.
