This phone has an amazingly good display, great cameras, and excellent sound. I would recommend anyone getting the phone to use manual mode or cinema pro for photos to get the best out of the sensors. The phone runs very well and I have never had it get bogged down. Overall, I definitely recommend the Xperia 1!

Pros that I see with the phone - nice and lightweight - video quality is great - sound is also great - I like where the finger print scanner is. - it reminds you to reboot your phone every 7 days Cons - The fingerprint scanner can be flaky and you have to enter your pin. - When you put the phone up to your ear during a call the speaker comes on if you aren't careful - Needs wireless charging. Don't know why they removed that feature.

Overall great phone. Sound is top notch as well as the viewing display. Watching videos with the 21:9 display is the most enjoyable viewing experience a phone has provided me. Camera in night I believe is the best out there. Only a few quarrels. The position of the fingerprint sensor and arrangements of volume buttons. Camera button is spot on. Wish it had a headphone jack as well.

So most people love samsung and the google pixel but they have to give this Sony a try. They had issues before in the past when it was Sony Ericsson and then just Sony mobile but honestly what other phone has flagship specs (Snapdragon 855, 8gb Ram, 128GB storage, 4k OLED?) It's a great phone and the size is nice. At first the 21:9 will throw you off but after a while you will wonder why you did without it. It's just beautiful to look at and the images are just amazing. The camera is top notch albeit a bit slow. The update to android 10 did break a few things like stuttering with streaming and slow camera app. Hope fully they fix this soon.

I mainly use my phone for media consumption, so this phone is amazing at that. Everything is flagship quality. This phone stands for to toe with the S10+. Only lacking feature would be wireless charging, but then again I don't use it much either way.

I bought the Sony - Xperia 1 with 128GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Black to watch my movies on the phone with the OLED screen in 4K HDR. Sound is excellent due to the added Dolby Atmos. I love my phone.

Graphics are great. Sound is great. Camera is better than a Note 10. There's some features that are taking a bit to get use to, due to it being a Sony phone. I am able to connect to my PS4 easier.

The screen is perfect! this 21:9 ratio is really good, netflix is amazing, also the games that already support it. This new triple camera is sooo amazing.

I've never really bought and unlocked phone before and the condition of the phone was okay but yet it seemed as someone had used the phone for a while. Box was dirty and the phone wasn't even centered with scratches on the box from them opening it. Not 100% sure why but I had to reset the phone a couple times for it to work properly. All in all after a factory reset and then phone is good again. Great camera, great screen, slim design which doesn't hurt my hand from holding it for too long. I'm not all too happy about spending so much money on and unlocked phone like that. So for next time I'll possibly be avoiding buying an unlocked phone from Best Buy. *Shrug*

This is my new favorite song it has his shortcomings fingerprint scanner could be improved but other than that is a 10 plus phone Also I wish it had wireless charging possibly next generation but that's not a deal-breaker!

FINGERPRINT scanner is completely unreliable. Works and then does not work. No pattern to the problem, lots of other people with same complaint on Sony's support forum. Also Sony no longer provides utilities to transfer from old phone. Relies totally on Google backup. Setup was thus a very long process as theme, wallpaper, custom sounds, text messages etc all had to be manually re-done. USB-C power delivery fast charging not much different than micro-USB quick charge. Lastly this thing is VERY slippery.

It's an absolutlely amazing phone. But a few issues. Battery life is average, the touch screen could be better, and finally, the fingerprint reader isn't very good or responsive.

Underpowered battery. However screen and video and camera are excellent considering processor is older model.

Phenomenal camera, vibrant screen, and solid performance. You do get used to the length, over time.

VERY HAPPY, LOVE MY PHONE!!! I had the first Sony Xperia and loved it, went swimming and video taped my kids underwater doing their little tricks and flips. Had an accident with the phone and needed to get a new one. I waited because nothing else out on the market at the time compared. When I seen this new Sony phone I preordered it and the wait was SO worth it. LOVE THIS PHONE!
