The problem is Sony underestimated by customers, so please don't judge it until you try it. looking at the beauty of the product and the stylish design with its durability and smooth use, Sony outperforms others on this side. This phone offers a beautiful and elegant design in a light weight and a very fast operating system Android Pie 9 under the hood with a stunning camera. I am a big fan of Sony and I can say that Sony has actually made a great device by putting good hardware at an acceptable price. Fingerprint scanner is very responsive, screen is 6.5 FHD Gorilla Glass 5, 21:9 aspect ratio wide screen, 4 GB RAM, CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 is good for mid-range phone, front camera is 12MP and rear is 8MP with 4k video recording, sound quality is amazing with DSEE "Sony Digital Sound Enhanced Engine" NFC for fast pairing. $429.99 price point is acceptable taking into consideration this device offers vivid screen colors, great sound and fluid use. at the beginning I was concerned about device being tall but actually seems great in hand and doesn't really bother as I get to use the split screen feature nicely and good for movie streaming.happy with my Sony Xperia 10 Plus specially with my Sony WH-1000XM3 makes it a great ecosystem.

I really like this Sony Xperia Plus! I needed to replace an older phone that started slowing down and this was a cost saavy upgrade. This phone is the perfect size, attractive and with great features. Had a nice Sony cell some years back, so I bought this one with confidence. I appreciate the affordable price because I shouldn't have to break the bank for a cellphone. Best buy offered it for half the price of other stores and delivered it in only a few days!!

The Sony Xperia 10 Plus is a solid phone. However, with "budget" smartphones getting better and better, this phone while good doesn't truly stand out. As soon as you take this phone out of the box, the design stands out immediately. The 21:9 aspect ratio really feels nice in the hand. The unibody plastic chassis doesn't feel premium, but it doesn't feel cheap either. It looks sleek. The forehead may be a little too big given today's notch/hole punch trend but you get used to it. The headphone jack is a plus! With the high-resolution audio, it really does make for a good music-listening experience. The fingerprint scanner is on the side which works for some and not for others. I didn't have any problems with it and using my thumb to unlock the phone didn't feel unnatural to me. The speakers are on the bottom which is the trend with every smartphone. I personally think front facing speakers are the way to go but these are solid quality speakers. The screen. The 21:9 aspect ratio is what Sony is really trying to sell you on. I gotta say, when watching shows that support 21:9 and seeing it fill up the entire screen, it does look really good. Given the longer display, you can also see more when web surfing and scrolling through posts. However, not every app is customized to the screen so bear that in mind when buying this phone. It also did get annoying to have the black bars at the sides when not watching videos optimzed for 21:9 but that's probably because we're so used to 16:9. The screen is bright enough for everyday use except out in direct sunlight. You can make the settings "super vivid" for those bright colors. The Android Pie software is very close to stock which I like. However, I do notice some hiccups every now and then. Some apps will shut down randomly. Watching videos will suddenly turn to mini display. GPS randomly goes out. I do think that these can be fixed with software updates. Camera is good but you're definitely not buying this phone for the camera. It takes good pics in regular light. Noisy pictures in low light. 21:9 pictures also look a bit funky. The last thing is performance. it isn't running the latest CPU and has 4 GB of RAM. It's ok for regular use. Sometimes it'll hiccup but I think those were more software issues. However, more demanding apps caused some serious lag which was disappointing. The battery life is also not mindblowing. It can last the whole day with music listening, some web browsing, texting, calling, emailing no problem. However, watching videos and streaming will really make it run out quickly. All in all, it is a decent phone at that mid-tier level.

I actually like Sony phones, although their software sometimes leaves something to be desired, but, it is much less resource heavy than any Samsung stuff, and their designs are definitely different from most run of the mill android phones. Surprisingly quick, nice to hold in your hand, and has android Pie as the OS.. Would have liked to see wireless charging, and, stereo speakers, but, it does have a headphone jack, and a nice display, and a very nice camera package, so, if you are looking for an alternative to another Samsung phone, you should take a look at this one...Nicer than I thought it would be!

I've had my Xperia10 for about 6 months. It is a good phone for some one that does not care for any flashy features or wanting to have the latest and greatest. This is my first Sony phone I've owned and really like it. For it being on the lower mid grade side I give it a 4 star overall. I do have some Goods and Bads for this phone. Processor: It is a little on the slow side compared to the flagships but after a while I got used to it. After a couple of updates it still not too bad on the speed. After a couple of updates the phone really didn't get affected on the speed, it did slow a little bit down but I am able to live with it. The only thing is that it does freeze occasionally, maybe once or twice a week. I have to turn off the screen (put it to sleep) and turn it back on so that i can continue scrolling through the internet (sites, youtube, etc) and when I'm texting consistently (it freeze as if it can not keep up). Also, I listen to Pandora (through bluetooth) all day at work (9-10hrs) and the volume sometimes does not work when the screen is asleep. I will need to wake it up and then adjust the volume. For the processor, I rate the processor a 3.5 out of 5. Camera: The camera is really good. My previous phones where the Galaxy series (flagships not the watered down versions) and even after the updates it still takes really nice pictures. The self camera even takes better pictures than my wife's GS9. Also the rear main camera takes good pictures in low lighting. I really do not have any complaints in this area. I rate the camera a 4.5 out of 5. Features: This phone really doesn't come with many features out of the box. It doesn't even have a calculator, but it is between basic and flagship. I really don't care for many features, especially ones that I won't ever use, but I really didn't have to download many apps to accommodate the features it was missing. This phone really can do what you want it to do, within in limits, and will impress you. I rate the features a 4 out of 5. Memory: The phone I bought has 64gb internal memory, which maybe 12gb's of it was already used with what the phone has stored in stock for. The only thing I don't like (or don't know if I figured out how to) is transferring internal storage to external storage. I liked how, on my Galaxy, I was able to transfer miscellaneous things from the internal memory into the external memory to free up some internal space. I currently have 30gb used up and that is with a 32gb external sd card. According to the menu they are items that are mainly downloads. IDK if I am able to transfer them to the sd card. I rate the memory a 4 out of 5. Exterior looks and Screen quality: I always buy cases for all my phones, but the feel of this phone without a case is great. It has an eloquent look and feel to where it looses its great looks with a phone case. I personally think it looks and feels better than then most flagship phones. Slim "squared" design is what attracted me to this phone and the fact that it does not have a chin is great. the top "forehead" is not too bad but could be a bit smaller. the 21:1 ratio is awesome and looks really, really nice. I definitely do not have any complaints on the quality and design of this phone. I rate this a 5! Overall I will rate this phone a 4.5 out of 5. This phone is great for anyone not wanting to spend $1,000 on a phone and wants something that's less pricey and still be able to hold its own. SONY, PLEASE USE THIS PHONES DESIGN AS A TEMPOLATE FOR ALL YOUR CELLPHONES, INCLUDING YOUR FLAGSHIP!.
