What can I say it's a Sony phone with a great camera!

Before this I'd used stock Android devices like Motorola and Google pixel but this isn't quite stock, not a bad thing but not a good thing either so far, lastly my carrier is Verizon which is in transition from CDMA to GSM unfortunately at this time the Sony Xperia 5 is a GSM type so network quality differs at the moment.

I had a Samsung last time and decided to try something different so I found the Xperia 5 and loved it! More ergonomic than most phones, and while some of the Sony specific features take some getting used to the phone is wonderful.

Beautiful 21:9 display! The Sony Venice tech in the Cinema Pro app is the best cinema camera tech in any phone right now! The files are so easy to color and process! Love this phone!

I recently upgraded from Xperia XZ premium. It has a great feel, holding the phone. Definitely also a lot faster with the 6 gigs of ram. Highly recommended.

My previous phone was the Xperia xz2 compact, the Xperia 5 offers little improvement over the xz2 compact. For day to day use, I actually find the display of the xz2 compact, more vivid, sharper and crisper.

Had to return. Couldn't live with paying $750+ for the phone with no wireless charging. It wasn't really compact either. Heavy and slippery in the pocket. I live in Florida and was plagued by the infamous camera overheating issues. Phone was nice when it worked, but very overpriced.
