So far this has been a very good smart phone for me. (well it is my first smart-phone). I can only see two inconveniences, when you have some apps installed, it start to run a little slowly, not so much , but a a little The camera is really good, good pictures, good colors. good focus. But, the same problem as before, it starts to run slowly after you install some apps. and also it takes time to load.

Pros - This is a good cellphone with nice camera and fair resolution. The advantage of being unlocked and fairly priced makes it indispensable if you travél to south and central América. The processor speed exceeds expectations. Cons - control bottons on side are a bit small for big size fingers. Battery endurance is not as long as expected.

Bought this phone during holiday season sale as it was available in unlocked version so that I could use it internationally. It has great specs of high end smartphones such as 2 GB RAM, 13 MP secondary camera and 5 MP front camera. The front camera is the too good as it has LED flash too making it the greatest selfie phone available. I would high recommend this phone to anyone looking for a high end smartphone within budget.

I was looking to upgrade from my Xperia Ion when I found this newly listed phone on Best Buy. Bought it on sale for $249. Fantastic smartphone at a fantastic price. The C4 is super fast, no lagging at all with a few apps running at once. Takes great photos and has great sound quality. I highly recommend it.

Nice Smartphone with good camera, crisp and clear sound, nice resolution. All high end apps works smoothly with RAM and inbuilt memory. Slot of external memory card is an added advantage. Battery could be little bit better, but no complains as it serves the purpose. Glad to have this phone.

I buy a ton of phones. I get a new one on average about every 4 months. So I have some experience with different models. I picked up this phone after seeing Best Buy has a new unlocked phone section in their stores. If you are OK with larger phones I recommend the Sony C4. The screen is very sharp (over 400 ppi) on a large screen. The camera is about average but good I would say for a phone in the $250 range unlocked. The cpu is fast and benchmarked very good with the 1.8 Octacore cpu. The only two issues I see are the phone gets a bit hot when watching or streaming content and the battery is about average. Besides that if you want a phone at 5.5" I think this is a much better deal then something like the Moto X at $399.

Everyone has I phones or Samsung now days and they pay well over $600. I don't care how great they say those smartphones are. So I have been refusing to purchase those phones for loooong time. I found this beautiful well made UNLOCKED Sony phone at best buy under $200. Great workmanship, well designed. A lot of people here stated that battery does not last as long as Sony claims to be, but I charged up to 100% right before I went to bed and 8 hrs later, I wake up and it's still 100%. I don't understand that no service providers carry Sony any more. This phone is unbelievable!!!

Great form factor - slim, big screen size. Minus one star for material - it is somewhat cheap feeling (e.g. plastic) - I guess I'm used to more resilient material as my last phone was an iPhone5. Fast OS response, camera both front facing and rear facing are easy to work and takes great pics. Great phone that won't bust your budget - finally, Sony has a fighting chance against the big boys (Samsung and LG).

I wanted a new phone , but did not want to spend 5-6 hundred dollars. This phone is a nice size and takes nice clear pictures. Battery holds it's charge well. Worth the price. And I trust the Sony name

I went with the Sony Xperia C4 because the positive experience I've had with other Sony products. This phone has a lot more functions than I really need. As a semi savvy senior citizen, I am still in the process of learning the phone. I wish the manual came in the box and not online. Still trying to figure out why I can't receive/download pics that are sent to me. The size is Great, but if you want a case for it you will have to order one online. Most stores don't carry one that will fit it. I also like the fact that it lets me know if I'm in the vicinity of Wi-Fi (free or not). Saves on data when I can connect to free. All in all, its a good phone and I would buy it again.

Bought this on sale. Thought it would be a great phone after reading reviews. Its OK, I don't think its great though. Does all the regular stuff you expect. Camera is OK. Battery life is absolutely the best thing about this phone - that battery seems to last forever! The battery itself is a 10/10 stars hands down and I have compared it to many different phones I've had - including two others that have great battery life. Performance probably 6.5/10 stars. The stock text that comes with it doesn't even allow you to lock certain messages, never had this problem with any phone before. You can star messages then go to your star section which is cumbersome and sloppy. The phone has just blank screen stopped working two or three times since I've had it. Of course right after it was too late to get a refund.... I probably should have tried anyway. The phone is lightweight and I wasnt able to find many options for a protective case on amazon like I usually can for other phones so just keep that in mind. When I compare its performance of certain apps like, my sling player app - for some reason regardless of being on the same WiFi, the Sony seems to keep having issues playing remotely where other phones don't have that issue. Haven't noticed any issues with Netflix though. It doesn't have scheduled texting either - which a lot of phones still haven't caught on to this - I would think by now this would be a standard feature -where you can schedule a future text to go through. Of course there are apps you can get from android but why have to do that if all the phones would make it standard. It does have a sticker section in text that other phones don't have standard which I think is very cool, but I didn' buy the phone for sticker texts LOL. So in summary like I said its OK. I went ahead and got another phone and the Sony is back up. If you really are the kind of person that needs something high level you really can't be happy with this phone. But if you are a person that is good with one that doesn't need to do much more than calls texts and have a great battery life then it will be OK as long as it doesn't start blanking out on you the first 30 days - in which for that reason I will not be recommending to anyone. When that happened the first time, I was out late, and nowhere close to home, and the battery power was high so that wasnt the issue. If I had needed to make an emergency call at that moment I would have been out of luck and for 2016 that's pretty much unacceptable. It took almost an hour before it finally rebooted itself. I won't even let my kid use it.

Everything was good with the phone, but 2 days after i purchased it, it started the get a small bubble on the battery. The camera didn't take that good of a picture. The videos from YouTube also didn't look good, because the videos where too sharp. The only way you could not see the high sharpness was when i had the brightness at it's lowest. Bad - Camera, Battery, & Video Quality.

The screen size, touch and camera are good. Skype does not seem to work properly on this model. Often the camera is not detected by Skype. Phone needs a restart. Sony acknowledges the problem on their support website.

The Xperia C4 is a mid-range phone on both price and specs. It's representative of its cost. The processor is fast enough to perform everyday tasks and then some, but not powerful enough for great for the heavier things. The same could be said about aspects like battery and sound quality. The camera, however, is very impressive. The camera shines on both physical and software aspects. Overall, the phone is a great phone with many things done right and few things that could use improving.
