I've been a big fan of Sony speakers whether it be earbuds, headphones as well as these Bluetooth speakers. I have the SRSXG500 model speaker and really liked that one. It was a little bit on the larger portable side however the sound from it was superb. Of the features that Sony offers with their speakers, the BIGGEST one I've been a fan of is their Super Bass. In all the speakers and headphones/earbuds I have, the Super Bass feature really stands out for me since it delivers quite the punch when listening to music. Since they have that feature in this speaker, I kind of expected it to be on par with all their other speakers. This one is quite large to say the least. It's almost 2 feet tall and weighs around 40 pounds so it's not something you'll move often however it is portable. It has wheels on it so you can roll it around wherever you need to. There are also handles on this so you can easily pick it up as well. The RGB lighting on this is a nice touch. It's not too flashy however it is noticeable and just looks good when it's on. Sound wise, it's what I expected from a Sony speaker. This being a larger unit, it can get plenty loud for your house party or for whatever you need this speaker for. It's omni directional speakers so it works well whichever direction it's facing however, I find that it's better suited if the listeners are in front of the speakers. There are 2 tweeters on the back handle that work well enough. The Super Bass on this is fantastic. I listen to EDM music primarily and each bass thump rings through great on this speaker. It's loud however it doesn't get too muddy in the high/mid ranges which is great. You can hook this speaker up to your guitar, TV, bluetooth and pretty much whatever else you want. There are I/O ports for in the back to hook everything up. There is optical input, USB as well as hook ups for your guitar. There is a companion app for this to sync your music as well as control RGB lighting however, I have an iPhone and it's really simpler to connect to it via Bluetooth and use the music app. Overall, this is a great speaker for your place. It's quite multi-functional in terms of what you hook up to it and how to use it. It's a tad on the heavy side however the sound output from this is really sweet. Thanks to Best Buy for providing this SRSXV800 for this review.

I've been waiting to update my party speaker and the XV800 was a sound choice. It's bigger than my old Sony speaker, with 2 low range woofers and 5 tweeters. Easily twice the weight too at a portly 40ish pounds. The design of the speaker is kid friendly with rounded edges and rubberized back panel. It only connects to a phone with the Sony Music app (which I had already installed from my previous speaker) so if you're letting someone use it, they would also have to download the app unless they plan on using the usb port and a pc. I was impressed with the extra thump from the subwoofers in all modes. The 2 rear top firing tweeters help spread the sound around so it feels more enveloping. I recently took it to my supercar show this past weekend and set it up in front of a coffee shop. Spectators remarked how loud and clear the music was about 100ft away, which surprised me since it was only set to 60%. Playing off my Android phone likely allowed me to make better use of the LDAC sound processing which helped with sound reproduction. I played mostly EDM IG popular music as that's what this type of crowd prefers. It's nice of Sony to include mic and guitar inputs each with their own volume input levels. The app also allows for DJ tuning, but I'm no DJ so left it alone. What didn't impress me was the fairly dim inward facing LEDs. They will only serve to alert you of the location of the speaker in a dark room. The Megabass feature muddles the mid tones and sounds as if the music is be played underwater. Sadly you can't use the custom EQ with the Megabass feature, but I played with the EQ to get a slightly better sound than even the preset modes. The wheels are little round bulbous things that don't roll well except over the smoothest surfaces, forget driveways. I would've liked a flip up handle to pull it along, would've made it easier to move, but the grab handles on top worked well to lift with. I find this a very capable speaker for pool parties, car shows, BBQs, even for an outdoor movie. Stand it up, lay it flat, the sound is still very good. The battery lasts a long time and you don't have to worry much if it gets wet.

The XV800 delivers big sound no matter where you are and now that they’ve put wheels on the back it’s even easier to take it with you. If moving it up and down flights of stairs it may be a two person move depending on how strong you are, as it’s definitely not light in a good way though. The speaker comes with a digital optical cable which allows you to use this as a sound bar also for your tv. This is the first Bluetooth speaker I’ve used that does that and the difference this thing makes is huge when using it like that. There’s some sound bars that don’t have a sub woofer included that’s almost as expensive or even more expensive as this speaker alone. Having this feature just adds so much versatility to this speaker. My only issue with using it hooked up to your tv is the fact you have to control the sound with the Sony music app. As good as the app is, I would have liked to have seen Sony include a small remote for this feature. And speaking of apps, the Sony music center app is how you control the speaker when using it. The one knock I have of the app is the fact you can turn the speaker off with it, but you can’t turn it on. I have the XP500 and it’s the same way with that one also. When you want to get your rock star on, the fiestable app controls the functionality and customization doing karaoke. The XV800 delivers big sound but the party chain function gives you the ability to connect other Sony speakers if it’s not enough. The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.3 so you don’t have to worry about audio and video being out of sync when watching videos and using a Bluetooth connection. The XV800 can be your party speaker, karaoke machine, sound bar and even charge your device while doing it. And when you want to use it untethered and take it with you, you get up to 25 hours of battery life. If you want a Bluetooth speaker that offers that versatility and one that has the sound and bass, grab the XV800 by the handle as it’s ready to roll!

Sony hits another one out of the park in the Bluetooth speaker category. Sound is great, looks amazing and has a multitude of inputs to make it a central party hub. To start, this speaker is a beast! I mean in size right now. This chonky boy is 40lbs heavy and sits a nice 28" high, little over a foot wide and 14 inches deep. Luckily it has built in wheels and handles to make it super mobile. Other than the standard paperwork, you get the speaker itself, a charging power cable and also an Optical Cable. I HIGHLY recommend you download the Sony Music Center App and the optionable Fiestable App as well. The Music Center makes it a breeze to fully customize the speaker the way you prefer to listen to music. Now I got to hang out with my neighbor who owns a pool and brought this along to have some entertainment while swimming. It's rated at IPX4 so some water splashes doesn't bother it one bit. You can also have enough time to remove it from a rainstorm and avoid damage too. The sound is top notch. This baby BOOMS and doesn't distort the vocals or highs at all. Using the app, you can use the custom EQ like I did (this disables Mega Bass but you can just increase it manually) to fine tune bass, mid and treble. Now I did give it 4 stars only because once you get the volume to above ~70% on music with bass, I noticed it start to struggle with the bass. Don't get me wrong, IT'S plenty loud at levels that are even lower to annoy other neighbors to file noise complaints against you lol. I just think in this price point, you should get a stellar and clean experience just a little higher than that. The LEDs are nice and also controlled via the app if you wish to change colors or behavior. Throw yourself a mini rave as well when use add the Fiestable app. Battery life is 2nd to none. 25 hours of playing life on a single charge? Uh yes please. There is also a USB in the back you can use to charge your phone or tablet. Be warned, it does take a while to charge though since it's a big boy. There are also 2 inputs if you wanna throw down on karaoke or the 2nd can be used as an Amp for your guitar playing buddies. Party connect works flawlessly for a "surround" sound experience. I have the XG300 as well and both linked up via the Music App without a hitch. You can also use the Optical Input via the included cable to hook it up to your TV and use the Sound Booster option. I didn't get to try it but it sounds cool. Also has a regular 3.5mm input jack for legacy electronics without Bluetooth. The XV800 is a banger of a speaker with cool aesthetics and is 100% worth it being a party centerpiece. Sony is constantly making hit after hit with their X series line up and this one should NOT be overlooked.

I have needed a large speaker that I can use all around my house for some time now, whether working in the garage, doing some yard work, nighttime backyard movie theater time, or just jamming in the house as I clean up. This Sony XV800 has been perfect for the job. It’s long 25-hour battery life, mega bass 6.7” x 6.7” subwoofer, midrange speaker, and multiple tweeters really help this thing preform and it doesn’t distort at high volume. Sound will fill the room a full 360 degrees thanks to the overall design of the unit and the rear firing tweeters and the IPX4 splash resistant rating will keep this safe from a light rain or spills from party goers’ drinks. And if you find the power a little low, a quick 10-minute charge will let you keep the party going for another 3 hours. This has a pretty unique design so that if you put this on it’s side, the second set of tweeters will activate and keep the sound accurate and omnidirectional. The top panel has some easy touch sensitive backlit (sweet!) controls that you can easily use for quick adjustments. You can toggle Bluetooth on/off, toggle the TV sound booster (using included optical cable), Audio 3.5mm, and lights. Other touch controls are pause/play, Mega Bass, Volume adjustment, lights, and a battery life indicator and physical power button. The connections for the optical cable, 3.5mm audio, USB and a Mic and Mic/Guitar connection are on the back. There is also a slot on top for a cell phone. My Galaxy S22 Ultra would only fit upright w/o a case on it so it would have been nice if this area was a little bitter with perhaps rubber molding to hold smaller devices as well. Portability of this is not too bad if you are just moving around the house. There are multiple handles to use to position this, but it is quite heavy at about 45lbs. Sony has placed rollers on the bottom that are similar to suitcase wheels, but these are a little small for what they are and not the easiest to use. I do fear scratching up the bottom of the speaker, so I just carry it around for the most part. Sony Apps, there are two of them that you need to get the most out of this. I just wish they would combine the apps into one if I am honest. The main app you need to really tweak this is the Sony Music Center App. This will allow you to adjust the EQ settings, check exact battery life in %, adjust audio inputs, turn on TV sound booster, etc. and adjust the Illumination, Mega Bass, and DJ effect as well. The Firestable app has some additional features as well as some similar ones. Here you can play with DJ controls, Illumination settings, Karaoke and set up a party playlist among others. This speaker can also pair up with other Sony speakers as well so you can expand the already great sound. This is a great speaker that allows you to really customize your experience or if you just want to turn it on and pair your phone, it sounds great that way as well.

Whether for party or easy listening, this is the speaker for the job. The omni sound projects a consistent sound around the whole speaker. Sit this in the middle of the dance floor and let the sound fill the room or even a gymnasium! This thing packs some powerful volume on its own. I would consider having a second to sync with it, but really just one is more than enough for me (and I'm sure my neighbors would appreciate if I didn't....) Bluetooth connectivity with your phone WITHOUT the annoying text alerts or phone calls interrupting the music while you’re streaming. DJ your party from any point in the room without needing accessories, just your phone and the speaker. Want to change it up with some Karaoke? There is a mic and guitar port. Strong battery life! Out of the box it had 80% and played for two days for maybe 15-18 hours. Lights sync amazingly with the music. Different instruments in the background of songs makes interesting variations. Easy to use app to control settings and add/remove connected devices. It does have wheels and helps moving it around, the only con that I have is that it can't be rolled over carpet easily.

Personally, I think Sony has cornered the market with this style of bluetooth speaker. The SRS-XV800 is another in a line of great portable party bluetooth speakers. First of all, the build quality of these speakers has gotten better with each generation, with Sony listening to feedback from previous products. This new XV-800 now has wheels on the bottom to help move it around, a really nice addition to the speaker. With the battery in there that offers up to 25 hours of playback, it makes these units heavy, so having the wheels is a great asset. Talking of the battery, it really helps the speaker pack a punch! The sound from this speaker, from the start up and connection chimes, to the quality of the sound that it emits is superb. At regular listening volumes, the bass is warm, punchy and enveloping and that feeling continues all the way up to about 75% volume. At that point is when the bass tails off and you are overtaken by mids and highs. Understandable, as that is to limit distortion at higher volumes. The Omni-Directional Party Sound is enhanced via two tweeters on the back side of the speaker, throwing the sound up and around, while the main source fires the music forwards. You can rotate the speaker 90º and lay it on its side. There is a third tweeter incorporated in the base of the speaker so that when it is on it's side, you still have two tweeters in the upper most position of the speaker. You can audibly hear when the speaker changes configuration from upright to side projection, so you know you are getting the optimum sound from it. A staple in the Sony speaker line up, which has been there since I was a kid is the 'MEGA BASS' option, which is both fantastic and weird at the same time. Fantastic because it always enhances the listening experience, and weird, because I don't believe I've ever turned it off when using these speakers, so does it really need to be there!?! However, the answer is 'YES' because it is something synonymous with Sony! I'd be sad if it wasn't there! The speaker also has integrated LED lights that you can control using the Sony Music Center App. When you connect the speaker to that app, you have a variety of options to control, such as the sound quality/levels including the preset mega bass and live settings, along with a configurable equalizer. You can also control power options to conserve consumption, the illumination state, from presets, to a wide range of options, and then delving deeper with the Fiestable App, you can customize the colors further. And finally in the app you can manage the bluetooth connected devices and the system software. Out in the wild, the XV-800 is a water 'resistant' (not proof) speaker, even with it's rubber panel covering the important connections on the back. So don't go spilling a beer over it at that party, or try and float it in the pool. But if you splash it as you get out of the pool or knock over that beer beside it, you'll be just fine! Overall I am incredibly impressed with this speaker, and being an owner of previous generations of this style speaker, in the Sony Music Center App, you can actually connect them together to create a stereo sound scape - now that's pretty cool if you have more than one of these speakers! There are two modes actually when you connect them, one is Stereo Pairing, and the other is Party Mode which enables the same quality of sound out of each speaker, connected in a chain. Absolutely love this speaker and will be great on camping and beach trips! Highly recommend!

First, this is a beast of a speaker. But the part that is amazing is just how incredibly portable it is. It has a 25-hour battery and the ability the quick charge in a pinch. It can charge up to 3 hours with just a quick 10-minute charge. It also comes with wheels and a handle to make the speaker move around with ease. That alone is a huge plus since this is a big machine. The device itself is Bluetooth enabled and can hook up a microphone if karaoke is your thing. The speaker is also IPX4 splash resistant, so you do not have to worry about taking the speaker to the pool. There are 5 built-in tweeters, and the sound settings are adjusted with the Sony Music Center app. With this app you can adjust playlists, audio settings and more. The device itself can also change colors via the app! On top of the speaker, you can adjust volume, pause/play, turn on and off the speaker via the touch pad. On the back of the speaker, you can charge your phone, utilize a built in optical in, 3.5mm audio in jack and two microphone ports. You can also hookup the XV800 to your TV and use the TV Sound Booster as your TV speakers. I did this (and still have it connected) and the sound is crisp, clear, and fills up my living room. This is such a great, all-around speaker. You don’t know what you are missing until you try! The overall sound is amazing, which I would expect from Sony, but the functionality and portability of this speaker opens all different types of avenues. This is not a speaker that needs to be still in a corner during the summer because it can’t be moved. The wheels and handle make moving this bad boy around so easy, you will want to take it everywhere.

      Hi Firestick,

We regret to hear that you were not satisfied with the speaker. Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. For optimum performance, it is recommended to install the latest software version of the speaker (via Sony Music Center app). When pairing a Bluetooth device, place the speaker and the Bluetooth device within 1 m (3.2 ft) of each other. Touch and hold (BLUETOOTH) on the speaker for about 2 seconds. You hear voice guidance (Pairing) from the speaker and the (BLUETOOTH) indicator starts double flashing (pairing mode). If the speaker is not displayed on the Bluetooth device, turn off the device, and then turn on the device again. It may improve symptoms.

Thanks again for sharing your review and we hope you will consider Sony for your future purchases.

I love these speakers! I love them so much, as soon as the first one arrived I ordered a second one. I have some of the older series of these speakers and was never blown away. These blew me away! I love music, I spend lots of money on my audio systems, home, auto and boat. But these just rock, not the best sounding speaker I have but they are the best based on portability, light effects, style and just all around. They do sound awesome as well. Packaging is solid and both speakers made it with zero issues. They have many features I will never use but download the sony app, link them up, adjust the lighting and audio settings to your liking then let em rip. These will run for 25 hours, I'll be sure to test that out. They offer distorarion free lows, and yes they hum with zero distortion. TV booster, karaoke mic imputs and a guitar imput to use the speaker as a amp. Set these up in stereo pairs or party groups of up to 100 speakers. I'm not sure if it was an update on the app or the speakers but these new speakers link up so easily, the previous versions did not andni always had issues. Glad this was resolved. Being water resistant makes them great for by the pool or on the party boat!! Dont miss out on these amazing speakers.

    A Truly Amazing Speaker!

Almost immediately after unpacking the Sony SRS-XV800 from its shipping box, I knew I had both a winner and a keeper in my possession. And since I mentioned the shipping box, let me begin with that. When I first requested the Sony speaker, I didn't really know just how big it really was. And when I saw the shipping box sitting on my front porch, my heart fell. In keeping with their newly formed tradition, FedEx delivered the box with many gaping holes and other signs of physical damage. But to my relief, Sony has truly accounted for this, and designed the shipping package to account for the many pitfalls of package shipping. The speaker itself was completely intact and undamaged. This truly says a lot about any company who will take the extra effort to ensure a safe delivery of their product. After the XV800 was unpacked, set up was extremely easy and simple. In fact, it was so easy I didn't even need to read any of the instructions included. Even setting up the Bluetooth and other features was unbelievably easy. Although it isn't really "necessary" to download the Sony app, it really helps to get the most out of the speaker. I already had the Sony music app downloaded because this is not my first Sony speaker. From start to finish, set up was smooth, seamless, and quite uncomplicated. The XV800 comes already charged enough to use, but I went ahead and charged it for three hours, which is what Sony states is the amount of time it takes to fully charge a depleted battery. After setting it up and charging its battery, I was ready to test the speaker. Like I said, I had no idea just how big the Sony speaker was. It sits at almost 30 inches tall, about 12 and a half inches wide, and a bit over 14 1/2 inches deep. The product specs state it weighs in at 40 pounds. I have the black speaker, and it appears timeless, sleek and elegant...which, by the way, seems to be an almost universal feature of Sony products. The time, effort and thoughtfulness that went into the design of the XV800 is patently obvious. Across the top of the speaker there are several controls... Power On/Off, Play/Pause (which doubles as a 'Demo' mode), Volume +/-, Bluetooth, Mega Bass/Stamina, Light, TV Sound Booster/Optical In, Audio In, and USB. There is also, on the back of the unit, a rubber cap which covers the inputs for the various connectors such as microphone, guitar (or other accessories with similar plugs), USB, power cord connector, audio input, and optical. There are two volume controls for the microphone and guitar inputs. If you ask me, that allows for A LOT of control over the speaker, which is rare on similar speakers in this category! Okay, so enough about the controls and looks. After all, the true test comes with the sound performance! Pairing with a phone is again, quite simple and easy. After pairing my iPhone, I opened a third-party music app and chose a Beatles play list to begin. Yes, The Beatles...don't judge me! I was immediately impressed by the clear, vibrant sound quality. There is no meddling of sounds...the highs, lows and mids are all cleanly separate. Using the app, I tried out several different sound options. There are the stock options to choose from...ClearAudio+, Sound Effect (Mega Bass, Live Sound, and Custom), TV Sound Booster, and DJ Effect. There is also the Custom EQ. None of them were disappointing in the least...quite the opposite, all were wonderfully experiential! I didn't just 'hear' the music, I 'experienced' it! After The Beatles, I experimented with several other different artists and genres, including music designed specifically for bass experience (New Bass station on Pandora). WOW! You can turn the XV800 all the way up and there is no distortion, and you can feel the bass as it hits you. It even rattles shelves and windows in its vicinity!! The woofer on the speaker is incredible, delivering distortion-free powerful bass. If nothing else could sell me on this speaker, the bass sound alone would...it's that good! But as I said, I tried many different sound options throughout all the different genres, and the sound was always spot-on. Never any distortion, never any jumbling, no matter how high the volume. I have to say here that very few are the speakers in this particular category that can boast such amazing sound clarity across the spectrum. I have been to events in which we had to suffer through embarrassing sound quality. This will never be said by anyone using this particular party speaker...ever! Without dragging this on and on about the music, I also want to touch on the TV Boost. This is accomplished utilizing an optical cable. I discovered immediately that your experience with the TV Boost is going to be dependent upon your television. I connected to the TV in the spare bedroom first, but only because the optical port was so easy to access. I wasn't very happy with the sound at all. But then my friend suggested we try the high-end television in the Living Room, which we did. The sound was infinitely better, and delivered a wonderful television experience. This TV is wall-mounted, so we did have to go through a minor amount of work to connect it. But I'm glad he suggested doing this because I discovered that if the original source is inferior, the finished output is going to be lacking as well. Don't get me wrong, I was expecting a LOT from the first TV, and that is why I was so disappointed. But on a better TV, the sound delivers like the sound I expect from a Sony product. I could go on and on about how great my experience is with the Sony XV800, but the only way you will fully appreciate just how good this speaker is will be by testing it out yourself. There is no way I can say enough about how great the XV800 sounds. It fills up not just my living room, but the entire house with wonderful sound. Its great outdoors as well. I live on three acres, and from my house to the road is over 200'. A single XV800 would be enough for an outdoor party or event, but using two, three or even more? I can't even begin to imagine what that would be like! I can seriously see the purchase of at least one more XV800 on my part! Now, there are a couple of things that are a bit distracting. The first thing is that although the XV800 can team up with other XV800s, it cannot pair with other non-same speakers, even other Sony speakers. I'm not sure why, perhaps it is an engineering technicality, I just don't know. But that is a bit aggravating. Another issue is that even though you can turn the speaker off using a cell phone, you cannot turn it on using a cell phone. I can't wrap my head around that. If you want to turn it on, you have to physically go to the speaker and turn it on. I would have thought a remote might have been included, but apparently this got past Sony. And the last issue I want to bring up is that the roller wheels on the unit fall far below my expectations, especially being a Sony product, the benchmark of superior quality. The unit rolls well on bare flat surfaces, but its marginal at best on carpet, and if you take it outside, you can pretty well count on having to lug it around to wherever you want to place it for the party. I just didn't expect this level of gaffe on the part of Sony! However, these minor issues do not detract from the overall quality and experience of the Sony XV800 X-Series Bluetooth Portable Party Speaker. It is an amazingly great sounding speaker, delivers crisp, clear audio, is easy to use, and is of extraordinarily good quality. It will make a great addition to anyone's collection of audio equipment, and I for one will HIGHLY recommend the Sony XV800 to ALL of my friends and family. Thank you Sony for yet another amazing addition to the Sony lineup!!

I've had a smaller Sony Bluetooth speaker, which I have always been happy with, I mostly used the speaker while completing tasks around the house. At family events we used a party speaker that a family member owns, but has gotten worn over time. I like to check out these Sony Portable Speakers in the store, but finally got the chance to try one out at home! In the box you have the Party Speaker, Power Cable, Optical Audio Cables plus some Manuals and other papers. The lighting on the speaker has 10 modes, 9 color options plus off. You have a ton of input options other than the bluetooth feature, but it's nice to always have the bluetooth connected to manage the sound levels or set up TV Sound Booster. To use the TV Sound Booster feature, it does require an Optical Audio Cable, luckily one is included. With the sound of this speaker, it is great for consuming content, I have a Sony sound system where I consume media, however when I set up the projector for watching movies outside, this is going to be an amazing experience. There is also input for Microphone and Guitar cables, which is a pretty amazing feature for a party. You can have karaoke or a live jam session. The microphone input is definitely a plus for me, when we have get togethers, usually birthdays or other family get togethers for the holidays, being able to make announcements this will come in super handy, likely get to test it coming up in July as they have a Microphone I can test on it. Haven't touched up on it too much yet, as there are many features to touch on with this speaker, but the sound is amazing! By default, Mega Bass was enabled (Which I still have it on). There is also Live Sound, Custom and Off. The sound gets super loud on this speaker, I possibly have it around 30% all the time on my bluetooth. I don't enable audio normalization on my apps, as I notice this typically lowers the overall volume, but even if I had this enabled, there is a lot of room for me to raise it. The Sony XV800 is definitely going to be my go to speaker for listening to music while doing things around the house. When I get to take it to a gathering, I know they're going to ask me to bring it back, if they don't try to convince me just to let them keep it! Luckily my wife has been using it while doing chores also, so I know we are just going to load the speaker back in our vehicle while politely telling them to get their own! Definitely my recommendation for a party speaker if anyone asks me!

I own many Bluetooth speakers, but this is the first speaker I could use as an amp for my guitar or for a mic. The Sony XV800 seemed to be a versatile speaker, and I was excited to test it out. My first impressions of this speaker was that it was pretty heavy; I completely understood why Sony included wheels and multiple handles to move it around. I ended up downloading the app and was pleased to see how many different configurations you can use with this speaker. I rarely see companies add features to extend the lifetime of the battery, but Sony included an option to limit the full charge to 90%. Even though this speaker already offers a long battery life, it is nice to know they are looking to extend the usefulness of this device. I also like that you can turn off the lighting function if you use it for a base boost for a television. I was curious why Sony did not advertise this as a soundbar, but realized that no highs or mids are audible when using this feature. I have not tested the water-resistant claim, but it is nice to know I don’t have to worry about it getting wet. I have yet to use this speaker as an amp, but have confidence it will work well, since I have already done this with other speakers without issues. The only two things I could see improvement with on the XV800 is lack of mids present and the outdated USB-A power output (USB-C would be a preferred option). Pros Long battery life Deep bass Lighting effect options Water resistance Two rear tweeters for better sound coverage Can be oriented sideways or upright Cons USB A for device charging Heaving in treble and bass This is an excellent, well-rounded, multi-purpose speaker. I look forward to using it at gatherings. I would highly recommend this speaker, as it can be useful in many different situations, and it sounds great.

This is a small speaker fits anywhere but after a week of use it has a squeaky sound. I called best buy for help and it was useless. I dont think I will buy any electronics from here again. The customer service team didn’t even care about my situation. I am not happy at all.

I was a little apprehensive about buying this it was on sale for $500 still not exactly cheap. I got it set up and this thing is awesome sounds amazing! The light feature is just ok but the sound quality is awesome. And it gets extremely loud the wheels could be better but they work fine unless you plan on wheeling it down the block or something and it's light enough to carry to the car no issues if needed. The battery is great and if you keep it plugged in it'll bypass the battery another huge plus, I think the light feature has to be off for it to bypass the internal battery not a big deal it must draw too much power with everything on. Overall this should last a long time. Sony is hit or miss in the past with speakers but the last few have been really good you won't be disappointed if you pull the trigger on this product.

This speaker has powerful, bass-rich, room-filling sound that’s perfect for parties indoors or outdoors. It boasts up to 25 hours of battery life, splash resistance (IPX4), and fun LED lights. While sound quality and volume are excellent, its quite heavy if you want to move around with it.
