I heard good things about this film, but it straight up blew me away. Not really sure what to compare it to, sort of stands alone. Should go down as essential cinema for quality, innovation, and unique engagement with its social themes.

I actually thought this film was better than "BlacKkKlansman." A true original. Funny, thought provoking, even controversial. A one-of-a-kind. The picture and sound quality are great. Plus, could not beat the price.

"How to succeed in business" in the present age of techno-absurdity. It's comedy, parody, sci-fi, political economic, social about how business adapts to an awakening oppressed consumer class. Hard to exactly pigeon hole, but that's my initial take.

This movie is smart and hilarious. Video and audio are excellent. A few bonus features are included. The commentary by writer/director Boots Riley is worth listening to.

This movie was nothing like I thought it would be not saying it wasn’t an okay movie I thought it would be more of a comedy than it actually was

Tries To Put Out A Few Messages,Fails Miserably

I give this movie credit for trying to reach people with a few moral messages but the over the top moments in this movie fail hard. The movie attempts to use comedy to get a few points out there and tries to be extreme but the jokes are weak,a lot of scenes just drag and it just feels like a chore to watch.I wanted to like this movie but it just fell flat and tried way too hard.

i loved this movie. the social commentary is scathing in the best way possible. Lakeith Stanfield is outstanding and Tessa Thompson is always a delight. in an age of IP, this is such a great, original idea.

This film was my personal sleeper of the year. I really enjoyed the story, which some may find disjointed, but such is life. I'll even go as far to say I consider Sorry To Bother You, this year's 'GET OUT'.

Satirical masterpiece about capitalism and labor in a slightly tweaked version of our world. Great features about the making of, especially the stuff with Boots.

If you've seen the trailer, that's only showing the plot of the first 25 minutes of the movie. I came in expecting a witty comedy, but it turned into a dark, kinda disturbing satire film which kinda leaves you at the end uneasy. Other people seem to love this film, but the twist left me feeling confused and bamboozled.
