The installation was great and the installers were very helpful however the quality the sound bar is not good at all there’s vibration and too much base and it needs an adjustment

Subcontractor did a terrible job

First, I want to say that the Geek Squad did not do the installation, it was with a subcontractor. Installed soundbar to TV, although did not stay to ensure everything worked. The light came on, installer said all ok and left. I proceeded to spend hours waiting and troubleshooting with Sonos customer service, only to find out 2.5 hours later that the installer did not connect the optical cable, therefore the soundbar would not work with the TV. Also, the soundbar is slowly falling away from the TV. I am working with the Sr. Geek Squad leader to get this resolved. The Geek Squad mounted the TV and did a wonderful job, they stayed until all connections were made, passwords entered, and we could manage all channels with the remote. It is cheaper to do it right the first time than to do a partial job and then have another technician come back and fix the problem.

Soundbar Mounting Complicated

It wasn't the Geek Squad's fault for not mounting the Sony Soundbar 9 for their 85" TV. Best Buy lost their Magnolia professional staff that would have known about mounting that soundbar. It doesn't mount the same way as do the other smaller Sony TVs do.

What a bunch of idiots. I have never used the Geek Squad before but I thought I would give them a try. I did. And I will never use them again. I gave them the exact model of my projector and receiver in my home theater. They sent a contractor over to install the speakers that the Geek Squad recommended. They were completely 100% uncompatible! I tried to buty wall speakers, but no, the idiot who answered the phone thought he knew better and sold me a sound bar that will not work with a projector system.
