When I first pulled Soundcast's VG7 out of the box, I could tell by its size that it ought to be loud - but I was just blown away at the gorgeous sound and volume of this Bluetooth speaker. I've never heard anything like it. I use it almost every day and charge it about once a week or so - I play it indoors, outdoors, bring it to parties, etc. Blows away every other bluetooth speaker I've heard. My friends & family ask me to bring it with me wherever I go - it has an "outdoor" and "indoor" setting for this. Personally, I just leave it in outdoor setting unless the room is small. Another cool feature is that all our family has the bluetooth connection saved in their phone/iPad, and if we want to listen to our music, we can simply do a takeover and seamlessly transition from one device to another. Very cool.

Before buying this speaker I did my research and while there were a few final contenders, it was hearing the VG7 that sold me on it. I was in the market for an outdoor speaker because I have a large backyard, I BBQ every chance I get and I get along with my neighbors so they're often in the backyard with me. My wife wasn't a fan of me turning my living room speakers up and facing them to the window to get music in the back while she suffered inside (not to mention the sound isn't that great when doing this) so I began my search! There was a review from Sound & Vision praising this speaker which got me into the Magnolia/Best Buy store near me to check it out. I brought my phone and the guy let me synch it myself so I could play the songs I wanted to hear and what I heard was amazing. I'm not a frugal guy, but I don't like to make big buys that often. This was a treat to ME and I'm so glad I got it (my wife loves it too, so she wasn't mad for spending so much on a speaker - everybody wins!) A few things about the speaker I like and then I'm done: - Beautiful sound. I'm hearing new aspects to my favorite songs that I didn't even know existed before (which is really cool when a song you love shows you something new) - Loud! but not noisy, if that makes sense. Like, it compliments a party, it doesn't obnoxiously take over a party with loud highs or deafening bass - it's perfect - I can move it inside & outside whenever I want. - It has indoor mode for when I don't want the bass so loud - Battery life is great - I've used it up to 10 hours straight without an issue and it claims 15-20 hours per charge I think? The battery is also removable which means I can buy a spare if I'm going to be somewhere remote and won't be able to charge it for some time (ie camping) - Not worried if my dog knocks it over of it my daughter spills her juice on it (yes, both have already happened because my dog is heavy and clumsy and my daughter is also clumsy) Bottom line is that I love it. If you don't mind parting with the extra cash up front, you'll reap your rewards in the long term when everyone asks where you got it from because it just sounds that awesome.

Great sound. Awesome battery life. We are using it outside to augment our halloween decorations and it works very well for that. Also will be the speaker we take to tailgate parties in the fall. Can’t say enough about this speaker!

Well nothing beats hard wired speakers but this comes in a close second! A little speedy though.

I never heard of the brand. A friend had an older model and recommended this for my patio. I got it home, powered up the battery. Wow. The sound is incredible! Loud, clear with no noise or distortion, and really strong bass. Any type of music sounds good--80s dance music, Disco, country--anything. It's actually louder and clearer than my Bose Acousti Mass system we use in the family room. We live in California and entertain outdoors on the patio all year round. This thing is great ! I've actually started using it indoors in the bedroom, office, and garage. You just tote it where ever you want music.

Since I bought this elegant speaker, it become a very enjoyable addition to our parties. The bluetooth connector is able to remember multiple mobile device, people can easily switch the playing device, really enjoy the convenience. The sound is great. It isn't only good for a backyard party, also good for a company event and roadshow .etc I'd highly recommend to my friends and even for companies.

The VG7 is an enormous speaker with an even larger sound. The quality of the sound is unparalleled, both indoor and outdoor. I really enjoy connecting two VG7's to my phone, giving me a sense of surround sound. This is a must-buy.

Sounds great! My buddy had me bring it to his wedding so everyone could play their songs during set up, pre party and after party. Everyone was impressed, especially DJ, he said was gonna add one to his equipment. The Bluetooth connection let's people share the unit. Definitely put people in great spirits as we got the venue ready.

I'm so proud of my VG7 which amazed my friends in my birthday party. A couple of friends are professional musicians and they highly appreciated VG7! when choosing speaker, I would say: don't follow the brand name, follow your ears and your heart!
