I use earbuds fairly often and I have quite a collection of them but these are my first open ear earbuds and they are definitely different. I found them as comfortable as most ear buds that cover your entire ear opening but they have a slightly different feel when seated. And because they are fully open they do allow in more noise so I found myself having to crank up the volume vs the levels that I would normally listen at. I found the touch sensors took some time to get used to because they are located on the support arm of the earbuds. Pros: - Lightweight and secure when properly fitted with the right sized ear grip - The audio quality is good for such a small earbud - IPX4 rating for working out and handling sweat - Can connect to two devices via Bluetooth Cons: - You need higher volume levels than normal especially if it’s a noisy environment. When increasing the volume you lessen the ability to be “aware” of your surroundings. - No auto pause when one earbud is removed - The touch controls on the earbud aren’t the most responsive - Tone only indicators for connecting, control input etc – no voice notifications - No Mute functionality when on a phone call Performance: The ear buds provide good sound quality and the Soundcore app allows you to select presets or you can customize your own equalizer settings. The touch controls on the earbuds can be somewhat problematic until you get used to them. The entire outer ring is touch sensitive so if you happen to start adjusting them while they are playing the probability of you double or triple tapping the surface is fairly good and that causes issues. Secondly because you are tapping the surface of the ring that supports where the earbud sits it can cause the earbud to shift its location on your ear. I found that it took some time to get used to the controls because the mounting and touch surface are so different from my other earbuds. Lastly because the ear buds do not block out any environmental noises I found that I had to raise the volume of the earbuds which I wasn’t fond of doing. In the gym they play music in overhead speakers and I realized anytime I was near one I had to increase the volume. I would think this would also be the case for anyone who uses these in any crowded or noisy environment. I understand that these are meant to allow you to be “aware” of your surroundings but what happens is you need to increase the volume to overcome the outside noises which then defeats the ability to be aware. The Soundcore app allows you to pick the functionality of the touch controls on the left and right earbud. Fit and Feel: Since these earbuds don’t fill the ear opening they seem to be less noticeable to me when I wear them even when exercising. The earbuds clasp to the ear and they come with extra ear grips to help them fit tightly. I ended up trying all three sizes and ended up with the medium size which supplied enough stability without any discomfort.

I was REALLY skeptical about these AeroClips when I first saw them, and I was even more skeptical once I tried them on. There was no way these were going to be comfortable, fit, and hold up through rigorous activity, right? Wrong. It looks like these may be the new trend in active ambient sound earbuds as I'm already seeing a lot of similar designs all over the place, but Anker is an innovator in small tech gadgets at great prices and they've got a solid design with these AeroClips. I'll start with what I don't like and why I took off a star, since the negatives are relatively minor but a big enough issue that I took a star off. 1. The tapping responsiveness is REALLY bad. I have a lot of earbuds with capacitive touch controls and quick taps to start/stop/skip and these are easily the worst and least responsive. I don't know if this is something Anker can fix with a firmware update, maybe the controls are asleep to save battery? But tapping on the bridge portion as recommended is just soooo miss rather than hit for me. I really hope this gets fixed in a firmware update. 2. These are NOT Active Noise Cancelling or even sound blocking earbuds. That means you get a LOT of ambient sound while using these. I wouldn't say you get all of it, because while you are using them the audio especially if playing music will drown out a lot of the ambient noise. Also, if someone is talking to you, you won't be able to hear them until they get within a few feet of you. Lack of ANC and passthrough means these are pretty poor on flights or even noisy environments, like mowing the grass. This can also be a positive for people who do want to be able to hear ambient noise however, like if you are at work and don't want people having to come up to you and yell to get your attention, or if you have kids or young children where you want to be able to hear them or a baby monitor etc. As for the good, the comfort is actually outstanding. They are counter-balanced and kind of hang off your ear with multiple contact points, plus they are super lightweight, so you can wear them for hours at a time without your ears or ear canal getting tired. The earbuds don't actually fit inside your ear canal, they kind of hover over top of it so they don't fully snug into your ear. This really takes some getting used to when putting them on bc your instinct is to wedge them into your ear hole but that's now how they're meant to be worn. Also, how you position the earbuds around the perimeter of your ear will vary greatly by person. The instructions show wearing them at around 2pm or 4pm if your ear is like a clock kind of like those ear bands that were popular in the 90s, for me they are closer to 5pm or even 5:30pm. This is going to vary person to person how much distance there is between your ear hole and the edge of your outer earlobe. There is the very real possibility these do not fit you if you have a long distance to your outer ear. The sound is actually excellent and doesn't require you to blast it at 100% to be able to hear. That's probably the coolest part about these headphones, they sound great and the design works. The only down side is in a quiet environment, you will get some audio leakage so others around you will be able to hear some noise coming from your headsets. Battery life is good, I was mowing the lawn and doing yard work with these for about 4 hours and battery was still at 30% while listening to music. Charging in the case gives you 4-5 full charges as most of these cases will do, which is great if you don't want to have to charge the case every time you use the earbuds, especially if you only use them for a few hours per session. You can connect multiple devices at once with BT multi-point which is an expected feature now on wireless headphones, which allows you to connect to your phone and also your laptop for example, and the earbuds will tell you how many devices you are connected to. The SoundCore App is clean and simple to use, tells you battery life, simple equalizer with presets and also has a Find Device function which is new on a non-Apple device for me. Overall these are a great earbud for using while working out, doing work, or even in the office. They also don't look goofy as I thought they might, certainly less odd looking than the stalks that come out of Apple headsets in my opinion and also not as bulky in the ear as some of the in-ear wireless earbuds. They're also not as large as Beats Pro or headsets that have full behind the ear wings. Getting used to putting them on will take some time but I'm getting faster and really enjoying these headsets, I just hope they improve the touch controls in a future firmware update.

I have used a number of different types of listening devices including, traditional headphones both wired and wireless, in-ear buds and over ear buds. I have never used a clip-on ear bud so I had no idea how this was going to work. First, the buds come with a charging case that uses a USB-C cable which was included. I plugged them in to charge and they were fully charged in 30 minutes, however I don't know how charged they were but subsequent charging has always been very quick. Once charged I pair them up with my phone and everything went flawlessly. The buds come with additional covers that help adjust to different ear types. Attaching to the ear is simple but where you attach them will also make adjustments to the sound. Sound quality was very good but probably not as rich as in-ear or over the ear styles. One huge advantage I see with these as opposed to noise cancelling headphones is for those folks who want to hear their music but also want the ability to hear some surrounding noise. Battery life seems to be very good! Worked in the yard for almost an entire day and they were on the entire time.

I purchased these AeroClip earbuds because I wanted an open-ear option to use when I want to listen to music or podcasts but still be aware of my surroundings. While my AirPods Pro 2 are great for ANC, they do hurt my ears after a little bit and so I decided to try something different for when I want to listen for a longer period of time but don't necessarily need ANC. I had tried some over-ear headphones but they weren't for me. These fit the bill. They feel a bit odd at first, but the don't hurt my ears even if worn for many hours, have great battery life, charge quickly, easily connects to both my phone and laptop, and provide great sound for the type of earbud they are. You can't expect the same experience as an in-ear earbud. I've tried some other open-ear styles that sounded tinny, pinch my ear, or fall off, not the case with these. I find that they get plenty loud enough for me, but certainly wouldn't use them if I was wanting to tune out a loud environment. I like to listen to music or a podcast as I go to sleep and did just that last night and woke up this morning with both earbuds still in place and my ears were not uncomfortable at all. I almost didn't get these because the style kind of looked silly to me, but I'm glad I took a chance on the AeroClips.

I love headphones and when I came across the Aero Clip from Anker I was intrigued and had to get these. There are so many different earbud variations but this design is a new take on earbuds. Many companies have tried and have attempted to make ear clip ear buds take beats for example a well-known brand but ultimately, they mostly share a similar design an actual clip that contours the outer ear. Anker, I believe may be the first company to make a unique design that clips to the ear itself much like an earring. After using them for sometime as my go to pair I am pleased to say that Anker has gotten it right but then again, they are no stranger to audio and make some robust products that contend with the big names. Upon opening the box, you find the case with small earbuds. I must admit I was taken back when I saw just how small they are. You will also find a USB cable for charging and gel tips to help with grip for the earbuds. Medium did the trick for me and I found that there is a lot to like. If you are accustomed to noise cancelling earbuds then you would have to take some time to get used to these as they are considered an open design and are not really meant to block noise around you. I thought I should point that out and answer the next question that some may have which is who is this really for? I would say that the Aero Clip is for those who lead an active lifestyle and do not want over the ear headphones. And for individuals like myself who do not have symmetrical ears and have trouble with in ear buds. These do stay in or more like on your ear thanks to the clip like design. Much like almost all ear buds there is an Anker application for your smartphone to help you get the most out of your buds. There are a lot of neat features like touch control and you can answer phone calls and control media. Audio quality is great for something so small. And like I stated previously you can adjust it to your preferred listening style through the application. Call quality is surprisingly good and both parties had crystal clear audio during calls that were made. Battery life is as advertised and I have to say that during commutes this is a god send not having to pull an ear bud out to hear my surrounding’s. :::Pros & Cons::: Pros: - Unique style - Strong battery life - Touch controls - Excellent call quality - Intuitive smartphone app with good features - Small form factor Cons: - My only complaint is ear discomfort after long sessions Overall, I am impressed with what Anker has come up with and as usual they are priced fairly. I love the design here and hope a second iteration is made, although I am unsure how these could get any better, I am sure they will figure it out.

The soundcore AeroClips are lightweight, open ear clip-on earbuds that sound great and are comfortable. Pros: -Warm sound profile without harsh, high frequencies or annoying sibilance. The bass is more ‘punchy’ than ‘sub shaking’, but in my opinion it sounds well balanced overall. With the soundcore phone app it’s also possible to adjust the equalizer. -Non-intrusive fit making it easy to hear surroundings. -Audio won’t be heard by others nearby. -It can be connected to 2 devices at once (for example, a TV and a phone - it will pause media on one device when switching). Sometimes it can get confused but otherwise it does a good job switching back and forth. -They are comfortable and feel lightweight on my (smaller) ears - I was able to wear them nonstop for at least 2 hours, sometimes forgetting I had them on. Cons: -No volume control. -No noise cancellation. -In my case, I’m not sure if I want to wear them outside the house as they look like large, circular earrings around my ears. -Tapping commands need to be done slowly and with some force - rapid taps don’t seem to register well. The soundcore product page does mention ‘Note: Tap with some pressure for the earbuds to register the command’. -On iOS, I had some trouble finding the sweet spot for my volume preference - setting the volume to 50% was a little too quiet, while the next volume step felt slightly too loud. Overall I really enjoyed the warm default sound profile and the open ear aspect of the soundcore AeroClips. With open ear devices each persons’ experience may vary but to me they were lightweight and comfortable.

SoundCore AeroClip earbuds. It is a minimalistic flexible open-ear ring earbud designed to clip on and then slide comfortably into your ear. They are so comfortable that I wear them at night to help me fall asleep. The SoundCore App has a feature called "White Noise" which allows you to choose several soothing sounds for relaxation. This is my favorite feature! The SoundCore AeroClip earbud battery charge last very close to 12 hours. I love awaking to the sound of ocean waves and tropical bird chirps! While listening to music and podcast, the sound quality is top tier. In the box, you will receive SoundCore AeroClip earbuds, a Quick Start Guide, a charging case, a USB-C charging cable, and medium/large rubber covers to customize the AeroClip's fit. The case and AeroClip earbuds were 80% charged upon removal from the case. The set-up is very easy. Inside the Quick Start Guide, you will find a QR code to scan to view the User Guide. I then downloaded the SoundCore App from the Google Play Store. It is also available in the Apple Store. The SoundCore AeroClip earbuds will allow dual connections. I connected to my desktop PC and cell phone. If I am viewing a video online, and get an incoming call, I can quickly switch to the incoming call by tapping the earbuds twice. You can manage sound controls, sound effects, white noise, and dual connections within the SoundCore App. There is a "find my device" feature within, which is very helpful. Highly recommend.

Soundcore is a manufacturer of affordably priced earbuds, headphones & portable speakers. Soundcore is owned by Anker Innovations Co., Ltd. The latest product released by Soundcore is the AeroClip. These are open-ear clip-on earbuds that adapt to your ear, making a very comfortable fit. Aeroclip is unique in that it clips over your ear, unlike a conventional earbud that inserts in your ear. I found long term listening ultra-comfortable with the Aeroclip, because it gently hugs your ear, rather than insert into the ear canal with rubber pieces that put constant pressure in your ear. So you enjoy music pressure-free! Aeroclip sounds amazing! They have huge 12mm dynamic drivers that deliver powerful bass. These drivers are larger than the drivers that are built into earbuds for a reason: because they clip over your ear lobe, they are a slight distance away from your ear. Therefore they need stronger bass output to travel the distance to your ear. It works! The sound is absolutely amazing! I feel safer when wearing Aeroclip outdoors because I can hear cars approaching, since these are an open air design. CONCLUSION: Soundcore AeroClip earns my highest recommendation by offering ultra-comfort with great sound.

The first thing I noticed when I saw the packaging for the Soundcore AeroClips is that they look like mini headphones for the ears! When I took them out and held each one, I thought there was no way they would have a good sound. As it turns out, there were a few surprises that turned out good and some not so much. . When you put the Aeroclips on your ear and position to your liking, you can barely feel they are there. The included ear grips that cover one of the ends helps make sure they are very snug. I personally chose the larger size of the two, which felt perfect. The Aeroclips can be moved up or down on the ear for comfort. Now for a rather huge surprise for me. No tinny sounding cheap sound. They get very loud at full volume with rich sound. I was blown away! I had my daughter and wife test them as well. Everyone is very impressed by the sound quality they make. On the comfort side of things, I found myself wearing them and forgetting they were on my ear. I love that. They are open ear and can hear the outside world if the volume is not at full. The Aeroclips are rated X4 on water resistance too(defined as splashing is ok but do not submerge in water). The one big downside to me while wearing these, were the lack of controls. There are literally like 2 controls total when listening to music, pause and fast forward. I was disappointed to find that there were no back controls, what I mean is to go back 2 songs or start over. I had to take a star off for this because no going back while listening to music can be a no go. With this said, while using, make sure to put on repeat or whatever before stepping away from the actual controls. For calls, there are controls for accept, hold and hang up. I would definitely recommend these Aeroclips if you can afford them as they are on the pricey side. Also, make sure to download the Soundcore app! Makes connection much easier when taking calls. I wish Anker would put that on the cover of the booklet as I feel it is important. If you’re looking for a very minimalist, but basic earbud, look no further. I know these will be my go to when taking quick trip down the street or a walk.

Sound quality is good, they do the open job well and are quite comfortable! They also have good battery life, and charge quite quickly. My only issue is something I've had with other Anker Earbuds, which is strange issues with connection here and there. I got these on sale, so definitely worth the $120 I paid in my eyes.

I really love these headphones. I can wear them for hours and they stay super comfortable the whole time. Unlike other clip-on styles I’ve tried, these don’t dig into my ears or cause any pain. They even come with soft gummy fit adapters for different ear shapes — I’m using the medium ones and they fit perfectly. They’re not made for blocking out noise, but the sound quality is amazing. Sometimes it actually tricks me into thinking the sound is coming from around me instead of the headphones. When I'm on conference calls and using my phone a lot all day long I noticed that the battery on these headphones outlasts my phone.

These are the first set of clip on earbuds I've bought and so far i love them. I even love them more than some of the traditional style earbuds i have. They clip on my ears with a good fit. I can wear them while im walking around they stay in place and don't fall out. The music quality is good and so is the call quality. Battery life is good too i can get about 8 to 9 hours with them before they need to be recharged. Overall i am well pleased with my purchase and I would recommend this product to others too!

It’s a wonder how a device from outside the ears can effectively sound just as good as its inside. And this earbud excels in that. It produces a good quality sound and sounds great but, in a quiet environment. The best part of this design is you do not need to carry the case all the time. It just can stay on the ears all the time without interfering regular activities like having a conversation with others or even like driving and can resume playback when you are ready. Personally, I do not prefer earbuds with silicon buds as that makes me feel stuffy. My obvious choice were the stem designed earbuds without the silicon buds, but they always possess a risk of falling off and never give a secure feeling. This has no such issue and it just stays on forever. Speaking of staying on the ears forever, this is really comfortable and most of the time I do not feel that it is on. It’s a relief nothing is poking inside the ears or stuffing the ears but still get a good quality listening experience. It takes a while to find the best position for the earbuds but once you find it, it’s very comfortable to use for long periods of time. But what’s an advantage is also a disadvantage when at outdoors. In a noisy environment it does not perform great. Even in supermarkets where there is some music in the background, I struggle to hear thru the buds at a low/medium volume. But I believe this is a limitation of this design and it’s a price to be paid for the comfort. The clip accepts tap inputs. The soundcore app provides options to configure the tap. There is no single tap, and we can configure only double and triple taps on the left and right earbud. The app also lets you choose sound presets offering bass booster, classical, treble booster, podcast and custom EQ options. At times the tap doesn’t register and responds about 80% of the times. The feedback sound it generates when the tap is registered is extremely useful. This has an excellent battery life last about 8 hours on a single recharge and lasts about 24 hours without needing to charge again. For practical purposes it lasts for about a week with a daily use of about 4 hours before needing to charge the case. This has multipoint connectivity allowing to connect to 2 devices at a time. When paired with a phone and another device, and when in use by another device it seamlessly switches to phone when receiving a call. And immediately switches back to the previous device and continues playing. There are 4 mics in the 2 earbuds and some AI technology that claims to have clear calls. Its good in a quiet environment, but in a windy environment its distorted. I have used other earbuds that have had a clearer call quality, so nothing to boast in this area. On the whole, this is a great open-ear designed earbuds. The concept of the open-ear itself has certain limitations but for those who prefers an open-ear designed earbuds, this is a very good choice.

I am loving this. I have a problem with traditional earbuds staying in my ear especially if I am doing any movement. These are easy to put in and stay in my ear. The sound quality is wonderful and they are very light. Due to the design you my ran into issues if you wear piercings in the same area as these are meant to sit. I have no piercings in that area of my ear so I have had no issues.

[PROS] Responsiveness: Completing commands is very simple. The AeroClip registers my taps on the bands immediately and executes functions without delay. Appropriate Volume: Even with the sound cranked up to the max, people next to me are unable to hear what I'm listening to which is something strongly preferred. This was part of my concern regarding the design, but I've been satisfied with it so far. Decent Call Experience: Takings call and meetings can be done effectively. The implementation of the beamforming mics and AI helps to increase clarity in my voice while filtering out the environment. It's not the best mic, but performs admirably. Surprising Sound Output: As a standalone audio device, the Aeroclip is very impressive. Bass is very strong, and other sound elements remain distinct despite being the earbuds being smaller in profile. [CONS] No Active Noise Cancelling: Since this product has an "open" design, there's no way to block out noise from infiltrating the ear. No Wireless Charging: These earbuds are a value pick which means a cut had to occur somewhere. I dislike when wireless charging is missing, but I can still live with it. [MIXED BAG] One Size Fits Most: These earbuds are comfortable up to a certain ear size. I have larger ears so the buds did pinch/crimp part of my outer ear. It made wearing the product feel more awkward rather than uncomfortable. However, my wife is another story. They fit her ears perfectly. [CONCLUSION] Despite me having issues with extended wear, these earbuds still perform exceptionally well. They sound better than one would expect, and are good for communicating. I like them, but my wife loves them. They hide behind her hair when using, and she can maintain a conversation with me while listening to music. Overall, these are a great pick.

I was interested in this style for a few years. This would make only my second purchase of this style. My short positives / negatives for this Anker AeroClip earbuds. Point of reference im using the iPhone 15 Pro Max on IOS 18.6. Positives: 1. Secure fit on my ears. 2. Very little ear fatigue while wearing for extended times. 3. Long battery life. 4. Can be connected to a maximum of 2 devices. Negatives: 1. Does not discount even when placed in charger. I would have to physically go to the Bluetooth settings to change output sound. 2. No on ear sensor, when placed in charger music or audio will not stop. 3. Had to clean earbuds almost every time after use. (Oils from my scalp would prevent the earbuds from charging in the case)

I only kept these for a short time because I was trying them out with the Shokz - OpenDots One. I ended up going with the OpenDots because I felt the sound quality was better. If the OpenDots hadn't been on sale I would have been more likely to go with these as the sound quality difference wouldn't have justified a $50 difference in price. These are comfortable on the ear and I do like the design. Soundcore also provides different sized sleeves for the back side to help make the fit more secure. My issue with the sound versus the OpenDots was it was a little tinny with some music. But as stated previously I would not have had an issue keeping these if the OpenDots hadn't been on sale.
