    A Great Alternative

Pros: Noise Cancelling (adjustable in app) USB-C Charging case Earbud battery life charging case battery life Water-Resistant earbuds Great sound quality with bass Abundance of app features and sound controls. Apple and Android capable Cons: Not a wireless charging case. Unknown if the charging case is water resistant Soundcore is made by Anker who is very popular for their mobile device chargers and other mobile related features. Soundcore is Anker's speaker division. The company creates great powerful speaks including headphones and Bluetooth speakers for parties, home, and while you are on the go. The Life Note 3 XR is a great alternative in the current market of noise cancelling earbuds. Packed with features where it counts the most and is well implemented. In this category we typically see brands without a wireless charging case. This is the reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5. Wireless charging in my devices now really make a difference in my life and I think it makes something great to excellent when equipped. The earbuds fit perfectly in my ear and come with a few interchangeable eartips to make for the perfect fit. The buds feel well made and are not heavy while in your ear which help with how long you can keep them in your ear without causing stress. The buds also snap securely into the charging case with magnets. The case holds an additional 35 hour charge for your earbuds which is really good. The case has a cool look with it carbon fiber like etching on the exterior with three indicator lights for battery life. The inside of the case is equipped with a soft silicone on the lid to protector your buds from scratches. Sound quality is great. According to Soundcore the buds have oversized drivers measuring 11MM. I am not sure what the industry standard is or what other earbuds in this category are equipped; however, they do sound great and are above the average. The app is well packed with adjustable features and controls. Add BassUp for Soundcore's signature bass increase. Select one of the pre sound adjustments or customize the equalizer. Noise Cancellation is good and you can change options like how high and low you want it to hear the ambient sound around you (typical feature for noise cancelation). I recommend these earbuds as an alternative.

Soundcore Anker Life Note 3 XR Wireless Earbuds

Received these about a couple weeks ago and have been using them on and off testing them out. They have become just another backup pair for when my main pods are charging. Inside the box are the Soundcore Life Note 3 XR True Wireless Headphones with extra ear tips (I believe the medium comes preinstalled) and a USB-C charging cable. Charging these didn't take too long for me. Like any other bluetooth device, simply put the phone, tablet, etc. in pairing mode as well as these headphone and link them up. There's also a Soundcore app that you can download from the App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android devices. I already had the app downloaded since I've been rocking the Anker Soundcore Rave Partycast Speaker for awhile now. The app allows you to change the equalizer settings of the earbuds, change the controls for each earbud individually, test the tips for the best fit, and switching between transparency and noise cancellation. While the app helps the earbud a lot, and the sound of the earbuds is crisp and clear, I had trouble with the volume itself. It seems as though the earbuds are not loud enough and I found myself almost pushing the earbuds deeper into my ears. I double checked my phone to ensure the volume was up all the way. This was more of an issue while on phone calls. Also my callers on the other end said I sounded very far away. However when I played music using these earbuds, everything sounded fine. Not sure if these are a set of duds, or if its a firmware issue, or if they're just designed that way. I will keep using them though as a backup pair.

I received these earbuds partially charged and it lasted 8 hours. I watched my show, listened to music and talked on the phone with these ear buds and it held strong. The noise cancellation feature works really well. I heard nothing in the background as I enjoyed my music. Answering calls was cinch and the conversation was heard clearly through my earbuds. I was able to connect easily to my apple phone and my sisters android phone. It took 4 hours to reach full charge after it died. These are really well made earbuds that I would recommend to a friend.

    Transformed

I have been a loyal Samsung fan. The loyalty arises merely from being set in my ways not out of greatness. This spring I bought the latest buds. Again just from being familiar with the brand. These jokers do not stay put not matter what type of tips I use. Out of frustration I have been searching for something better. I came across this gem and I have been transformed. These are a much lighter weight than the galaxy buds and so far they tend to keep a nice snug fit. For me, the sound quality is just as good if not better simply because they stay put do the sound is clearer. The cost also makes them a much more pleasant bud. The pairing took me a couple of tries but, that was quickly remedied. I don't know how these compare to the Soundcore by Anker Life P3 but, I do know I will never purchase another pair of the Samsung galaxy buds

I have purchased several Soundcore products over the years - Inifini Pro Soundbar, Liberty 2 Pro, Liberty Air 2, Life Note, and Life Note E headphones. The Soundcore Life Note 3 XR headphones are fantastic! They were a Deal of the Day special - $59.99! They charged quickly and were easy to pair to my Moto G Power phone. I am very familiar with the Soundcore app and it provides many ways to customize the touch response and noise cancellation. My main use is at my new job as a recycling sorter where I'm in a very noisy environment for 10 hours/day. They fit well in my ears with the medium tips and do not hurt. The noise cancellation works extremely well and it is very easy to turn on transparency with two quick taps to allow me to hear my supervisors. The case is very small and fits into my pocket without discomfort. One final note is that the battery lasts all day. All I do is put them in the case for 30 minutes at lunch time.

    Great sounding headphones

These are some great sounding headphones with a few quirks. While these are nowhere near the best headphones you’ll ever hear, for the price I think you’ll be pleased. The fit and feel is great. The ear tips fit well in my ears and don’t hurt after long listening. They are light and fit very well in the case which can be easily slid into a pocket without adding any insane bulk to your pockets. The controls are the only thing I didn’t really like about these headphones. I had a really hard time getting the anc to turn off with the touch controls because it never would register. Though this isn’t a huge deal because there is an app to, it was still something that annoying me about the headphones. The sound was really good. A solid well rounded sound with nothing over pronounced. I’ve used them for both music and video calls and have had no trouble at all. The anc works well. It isn’t going to block everything, but will keep most noise out. Overall I think these are a pretty solid pair of earbuds with good anc and a good fit. I think you’d be happy with them.

In this case, it might relate to the improper way of wearing. Here are steps for wearing for your reference:
      1. Choose the ear tips to fit your ears the best.
      2. Insert the earbuds into the inner canal of your ears.
      3. Turn and lock to get the ear tips to fit your ear groove.
Please note that there are extra different-sized ear tips in the inner box of the original box.

Great Audio Quality and Very Good ANC

Sound quality almost got me. They didn’t sound bad at first but didn’t sound great either. I was disappointed until I started playing with the EQ. Somebody should have tested the default settings before boxing them. This Soundcore by Anker Life Note 3 XR sounds way better than most earbuds, even than some bigger brands. So, don’t get disappointed if they don’t sound as good as you expected when you try them the first time. EQ is your friend, and it is right there in the app. Noise canceling was very effective. This was a surprise to me. I like ANC but very few earbuds implement it right, but they did it for these. As for design, I’ll not make many comments because I’m not a big fan of the big tips hanging but hey, that’s the trend and most people seem to like that style. Comfort was the issue for me, but I have very sensitive ears and very rarely I found a pair of earbuds that don’t hurt. I’ve had worse. Also, I was the only person at home who thought they were somewhat uncomfortable. So, my experience may not be the same for everybody, maybe only for those with similar sensitive ears. Also, they’re relatively light. Another issue was that the controls felt a bit stiff, requiring bit more force than I expected. I experienced no issues with Bluetooth, except when I would turn the microwave oven, but that is a common issue with all similar devices. They paired quickly and never disconnected unexpectedly. Overall, I’m very happy with them. I can listen to music for a couple of hours before my ears start to hurt. The audio quality is the main reason why I can stand them in my ears that long. Highly recommended.

The Lite Note 3 X-RAY earbuds probably would have been my top go to earbuds. Unfortunately, the right earbud will not charge. It came with enough charge for me to use both earbuds, but since the right one will not charge, they’re pretty much useless. I’m not sure if something is wrong with the connectors on the right earbuds or if something is wrong with the connectors on the charging case. When both earbuds did work the sound was great. Especially the bass. If you like music with heavy bass, then these are the ones you want. Much deeper bass than my AirPod Pro’s. The earbuds are comfortable to wear as well. Since I had issues with both earbuds working, I can’t say for certain if yours will have the same or similar issue.
