I bought these for my husband who is hard of hearing. He loves them (so do I LOL). We hooked them up to our TV and now he can watch it without disturbing anyone with it being so loud. He especially likes that they pared to his phone and he can listen to music while mowing. The noise canceling option even drowns out the noise of the mower. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a good sounding set of headphones especially if you are hard if hearing.

I went into Best Buy looking to decide between two wireless over-ear headphones: the Soundcore Life Tune XR and the Sony CH710N. At their regular prices, the Sony CH710N is 80 dollars MORE expensive than the Soundcore Life Tune XR; however, both the Sony and Soundcore units were on sale for roughly the same price on this particular weekend. With the price difference wiped out (the headphones being separated by only 2 dollars now), I went in expecting to purchase the Sony CH710N. I mean, the Sony unit was on a 57 percent early Black Friday sale. How could it not be the better value? Instead, I ended up buying the Soundcore unit. The thing that changed my mind was my in the moment opinion of the build quality. Of course plastic is a major component of both of these headphones, but the Sony CH710N display model at my Best Buy was so dang rickety, way more so than the other headphones hanging about. I don't know if this particular floor display of the Sony CH710N went through more than its fair share of abuse, but the comparative feeling in hand was that of subpar build quality and materials. I don't really have anything to say about the sound quality or the feature set for either the Sony or Soundcore unit. Before today I was using a pair of 14 dollar wired earphones that, to be frank, sounded perfectly fine to me. Suffice it to say, I'm not the one to give any opinions on performance. What I can say is that when I picked up the the Sony CH710N display unit at the store, the immediate reaction was, "nope"-- even at the deeply discounted price. When I picked up the Soundcore unit, I was happy that my first impression was, "this is pretty darn okay."

The noise canceling is meh, comfort is good, battery life is otherworldly.

I was looking for a set of noise cancelling headphones for under $100 and these seemed to be ideal. Many reviews mentioned how well the noise cancelling works- not so much. I primarily wear these when I walk the dog and since it is now autumn and the northwest wind has picked up, the first thing I noticed was the sound of wind turbulence around the ear cups. This never happened with my old headphones (now broken). I live in an urban area and am not far from a freeway. The second thing I noticed was that the whine of the cars from the freeway seemed more noticeable when wearing the headphones than when I wasn’t, maybe because I wasn’t expecting it. This was not the case with my old pair either. The airport is roughly 5 miles away from my house. The third thing I noticed was that when planes went overhead, the noise was still fairly prominent. With my old pair, I could still hear planes going overhead, but it didn’t intrude on my listening as much. As far as overall sound, I found the default equalizer setting lackluster. If you buy these, you need to download the app and they have an assortment of preconfigured equalizer settings you can choose from. I finally settled on “Acoustic” and decided it sounded the best to my ears. You may decide differently. When set on Acoustic I think the sound is very good. You can also adjust the noise cancelling from the app, but even setting it to block out as much as possible I still had the problems mentioned above. I assume this was intentional so that you are more aware of your surroundings, but although I could hear cars approaching, there was no directionality and I mostly could not hear them till they were on top of me.

Simply the best headphones for the what there worth. Easily destroys headphones double the price.

So, first I want to qualify my rating of 5 stars. If you buy headphones at this price, you should not expect them to be on par with premium headphones. My rating is a reflection of price to value. For the money, the Anker Soundcore Life Tune XR Wireless headphones are an excellent buy. At this price point, you won't find headphones that sound better out of the box. And their comfort at any price is hard to beat, as well. Wearing these for hours at a time doesn't cause the normal ear fatigue I've gotten from other headphones. As for sound quality, I've been very impressed with these headphones. They aren't the best I've heard, but they don't cost $500 either. I anticipated them to sound muddy, but bass is good and the sound is bright and clear. You can edit the sound to suit your taste in the app if you need to. ANC is also impressive with 3 modes to give you 3 levels of noise cancelling. Battery life is excellent. They rate them at 60 hours, and though I have not yet used them for that long, I think that would be pretty close. Bottom line...if you're looking for a great-sounding, inexpensive set of headphones, for the price the Anker Soundcore Life Tune XR is hard to beat for price, features, and sound quality.

Sound amazing once you customize your EQ. The bass is nice and clear.

Had this for 6 months now and it's still great. Definitely not the top of the time headset but it is worth the "bang for the buck". Noise cancelling works almost has good at the $300+ headset. I utilize this for gaming in games such as Valorant where it provides adequate sound recognition. Also it's a part of my stream set-up which works perfect for noise in the background.

The Anker Soundcores completely Silenced all outside noises. During this time of the year I do a lot of traveling and having a good set of noise cancelling headphones is a must. These were great for traveling, they come with a great case that stores very well. Not only that, they look as though they should cost much more than the current price point. The fit over the ear is extremely comfortable and they feel really light on the head. The earpieces feel like soft foam that molds to the ear. The battery life in amazing! I made sure they were 100% charged before leaving home and I didn't have to recharge throughout my entire trip. I have heard music through many different sets of headphones over my many years of life and I have to say that Anker has made their mark in the industry with these. The sound that this set produces is on par with the high end manufactures. The base hits hard, the treble is clear and the voice reproduction in second to none. By using the app you can dial in your precise listening frequencies and also tune in some relaxing sounds for a nap or good nights rest. The Sound Life Tune XR does it all and I 100% recommend these headphones.
