Audiophile Quality at a Bargain Price

I can't say how pleased I am with these headphones. Especially since my expectations were minimal given you're talking about the sub $100 price range.
The experience was pleasant right out of the box. Nice storage case, drawstring purse for storing the charging & auxiliary input cords, and easy on the brain instructions to get you up & going. Prior to receiving these, I had researched the Soundcore app, and downloaded it, recognizing the additional enhancements it adds to operation.
There were no issues at all connecting to my phone (Samsung S20), TV (Samsung series 8), or to a bluetooth transmitter attached to my high end audio system (pictured below.)
The Soundcore app works very well to fine tune your music preferences. The noise cancellation has multiple settings. There is a transparency mode that allows you to "stay aware of your surroundings by allowing ambient sounds in", i.e. human speech, or full cancellation which has 3 submodes - transport - for engine & road noise, indoor - for spaces such as a coffee shop, or outdoor which reduces ambient city type sounds.
There are also customizable equalizer settings, or 8 different presets such as bass booster, reducer, podcast, etc. I personally found the acoustic setting to be the best compromise for most types of music.
There is also "Superior Sleep" function which you can mix a variety of white noise sounds, or combine them. I had birds chirping during a rainstorm with a freight train going by! Nice added feature.
As far as the sound quality, I included a photo of my vinyl system just to show I'm serious about my music. I have a set of bluetooth headphones that cost 5X the price of these. And yes, maybe it's real instead of faux leather, and the use of high quality metal is a little more liberal, but truth be told, I'd be very hard pressed to tell which set I was listening to. The bonus is I can take these anywhere without the worry that I'd be losing half a weeks salary if I misplaced them.
I've had very good experiences with this company. I first bought an Anker charging stand for my phone at less than half the price of an OEM unit. They also have a corporate offshoot, Eufy, that deals in surveillance cams and other devices, I have these on my home's exterior, and like these headphones, they outperform competitors far above their price range.
If you're in the market for a set of bluetooth headphones, these are hard to pass by.

For $100 these headphones cannot be beat. I'd even put these up against some other brands in the $200-$300 range. They sound amazing and have tight, punchy bass, and certain frequencies will even vibrate and tickle your ear. The ANC works very well, although that's not a feature I bought them for. The ear cups and overall fit is very comfortable as well. The longest I've worn them is for about 3 hours straight and my ears were not sore and top of my head was not bothered at all. The battery life is insane. I've been using them 2-3 hours a day since purchasing them about 6 days ago, and the battery level is still sitting at around 75%. The carrying case is a nice add on. Overall, I'd say Anker is killing it in the headphone game right now. If you're in the market for a new set of bluetooth cans, these are them.

Great head set, had it for over 2 years now and still looks nice and bumps right. It’s not one of those top of the line headphones like the Sony XB950BT with mad bass but it is worth, decent. Looks nice, foldable has its own bag, long lasting battery, Light weight and smooth to the touch.

I was a bit skeptical buying headphones from a company known for producing chargers so I went with a jbl live 650nc instead. That one ended up having a weird issue where the sound would get distorted when you turn your head. So I took a chance on this soundcore xr and I'm glad I did. The sound quality is about equal to that jbl which was double the price, its not as good as my sennheiser pxc 550-ii but the sennheiser is 3.5x the price. The soundcore has stronger bass than my Sennheisers while maintaining the same level of clarity, the sennheisers have more detail and better imaging to the sound. This has a mostly balanced sound profile with a bit of emphasis on bass. These get pretty loud without distorting the music even at the top end of the volume and they maintain a full sound at lower volume where most budget headphones end up sounding hollow. The thing is I'm comparing these to much more expensive headphones because nothing else in this price range competes. Everything else I've tried at this price range ends up being some gimicky headphones with bass boosted to the point where the headphones sound muddy. Also I love the fact that I can have the ANC set to transparent mode while playing audio through the headphones, something that my sennheisers cant do, in transparent mode I can hear everything around me as if I wasn't even wearing headphones. Also I have to mention that these are hands down the most comfortable headphones regardless of price. Everything from the ear cups shape and thickness to the weight and clamping force of the soundcore xr are absolutely perfect. For $100 these headphones can't be beat. The only negatives I could think of are that they look kind of bulky on my head and I could do without the tacky chrome logo on the earcups. Also they can't be used while being charged although with the fast charging and great battery life this has the second issue really isnt a big deal.
Sound quality: 5/5 (for the price)
Comfort: 5/5
Noise canceling: 5/5 (for the price)
Battery life: 5/5
Design: 4/5
Features: 4.5/5

These headphones far exceeded my expectations and I am happy to report that they are indeed a fantastic item to own.
Foremost, sound quality and control. You have the option to hear background sound or music with the noise cancelling on or off. You also have a setting to switch and converse with someone and hear them, without removing the headphones.
Bluetooth is great on these. Never a problem. The build quality far exceeded my expectations. They come in a nice case that is zippered. And it includes the charging cable to power the built in battery, which lasts a long time.
Overall, a seamless and satisfying purchase online from Best Buy!

These headphones are really good! I have a big afro, and I was worried that the hinges would break somewhere along the line, but these are built very well!
Sound Quality? Fantastic, and the app that gives you the ability to change the EQ is a plus, (I personally leave it on the Acoustic setting.) All the ranges are clear, and the bass is just the right amount.
Noise-cancelling? Godlike. I live in an apartment with upstairs neighbors who have kids. Needless to say, these have saved my sanity on multiple occasions.
Battery life? Wonderful. I forget that it even has a battery sometimes. I might charge these maybe 1-2 times a month? They last very long on one charge, and after 1 year, I haven't noticed any deterioration in charge whatsoever.
Connectivity? Not an issue. Works as it should, and fast, too. The ability to connect to two devices and switch between them on the fly is something I never knew I'd need. Another plus!
I use these almost every day, and they've performed beyond my expectations.

Soundcore Brought The Noise

Okay, first things first. Download the Soundcore app on your app store of choice. Then open the box, power on(probably already at medium) and shut the world out and jam out. Wait, wait, wait. I got ahead of myself. Inside the box, you'll get the Life XR headphones inside a nice , non-descriptive case( Not a bag). The bag inside of the case, holds a type-c charging cable and 3.5 mm aux cable. I love that. I may use that when watching a movie from my projector later, in life. This is an upgrade from the standard Life model. The touch to pass-through feature is still aces. And the battery life is still off the charts with 40 hrs ANC and up to 60 hrs without it. No one really needs that much life, but I'll take it. The simple and sleek black on well made plastic, give them a premium look and feel. The controls are very easy to get to and use. Again, I'm going to highlight the app. This thing give pretty much all of your Anker/Soundcore speaker a major boost. It adds an EQ for the headphones , that will stay at your chosen setting, even if you switch and use another device to listen from. I recommend charging before use( scratch what I said earlier. That was just an option.) just to get the full use out of your headphones. Anker rarely disappoints when it comes to making speakers & headphones and they didn't disappoint here either. I just wish they where water resistant. But that is really asking the rain to purify itself. I love the sound and the comfort and being from Anker, I expect to have these for quite some time. These easily rival much more expensive headphones on the market. One final thing: If you didn't know, Soundcore does over the air updates,so your gear will spay as up to date as possible, with app. If you haven't guesed, yes. I recommend these headphones.

Absolutely the best headphones that I've ever purchased!
Battery power is outstanding - at 57 hours use with ANC on, I received my fist low battery warning. Then, received a quick warning once every 30 minutes for the next 3 hours. They were still working beautifully when I turned them off. Sound is amazing and customizable. No volume limiting which I love! Quick charge gives you 4 hours of listening. ANC is impressive. COMFORTABLE!
I don't think you can find better headphones without spending at least 5 times what these cost. After my first night using these, I went back to Best Buy and bought a second pair since they were on sale.

I’ve had these headphones for about 2 1/2 years at this point and I have loved them so much. I use them nearly every day. I edit videos, play games with friends, and ride the bus with these. They cover outside sound good. The earphone covers just recently started to tear and undo, which is probably a sign a need new ones. Even then, they still have been working good and I probably won’t get new headphones until these stop working.

Good sound, long battery life, works great with TV with no cut outs and minimal sound delays. Don’t have the sound sync or pairing issues with these I’ve had with other devices. Sound quality is pretty solid for watching movies or listening to music when I’m trying to keep from disturbing the rest of the family. I’m not a super audiophile so I can’t speak to those with very discerning ears but these are much better than other no name inexpensive headphones I’ve bought on Amazon in this price range.

Great sound, nice bass, easy button locations. Comfortable for a few hours at a time for work. Will also connect to a windows laptop for teams/google meet calls. Noise cancelling causes bad distortion, transparency mode is cool for hearing people and noises. Free app is cool, lots of diff sound modes and a custom equalizer. At $69 on sale it was a win win.

Bought these in April. They are very good for their price, but they have their limitations.
Sound: Comes with a bass-heavy default EQ which caused me to get headaches. You can use EQ to make them sound better, but they will not be as good as Sennheiser Momentum 3 or Galaxy Buds pro or Sony's WF-1000 XM3 earbuds. That said, for the price, they are ok.
Comfort: Head band and the ear pads have enough padding to be comfortable. Unfortunately, the ear pads get hot after a while. Momentum 3 has leather pads and they stay cooler (but their headband has much lesser padding). Also, clamp force is almost non-existent and the headband will slide out of your head if you are laying down. This happened to me when I was trying to use them in a gym.
Battery: Best battery life of all ANC headphones.
Calls: I found the mic quality good enough for calls. Not the best, not the worst. Unfortunately, they could not be my go-to for calls and meetings all day since the ear pads become hot after a while.
ANC: Better than Sennheiser, but not as good as Sony.
Other features: Multi-point works flawlessly. The button control is very easy to use.
To sum up, for the money, they are very good. They excel at some things and do not fare well on others. These are a good budget option but they do have their limitations.

I love these headphones. They work great, are comfortable to wear, they have very excellent sound (obviously not high end premium, but as close as you can get in this price range), and look nice. Liked them so much, I purchased a second pair as a gift. Have had them now for almost a year, and they still work perfectly.

I bought these on a whim while making several other large purchases. I was trying to save a few bucks by not buying Beats and making Dre even richer. The sound is better than I expected. They wont blow your brains out, but the bass is nice and deep, mids and highs sound good. The "surround" effect is great. Dark Side of the Moon sounds amazing. They hook up to my Tv which is great for night time listening, as I can have movies cranked up and not wake a soul. The ear pads are very comfortable although I wish the headband would tighten just a tad more. I can also use them with my Bluetooth guitar amplifier, so a late night/early morning jam session is never a problem. Plus, they sound good using them for that purpose as well. The battery life is amazing. I only need to charge them every three days or so. The nice lady who lives inside them will tell you the battery status when you turn them on. For general purposes, id say these work just fine.

I am an audio fanatic. I play xbox games ans watch movies on it as well. I have spent the last few months trying different over the ear headphones. I tried Bose, Beats, Sony and a few others. I tried the best they had.
I saw these on the site and the price was about half what the others cost, so I was skeptical. When I purchased these, I was pleased the packaging was very professional ann the build was elite. I have never worn a more comfortable pair. The ear cushions were amazingly soft. It was a lightweight set of headphones so I liked that.
When I connected and put on a sci-fi trailer, I was blown away by the sound. Incredible lows and mids. The highs were not too sharp. The surround was amazing. I was so pleased that I bought 2 more pairs.
You can’t go wrong with these.

They are the most comfortable headphones my 13 yo autistic son says he’s ever had. He refuses to wear any other kinds. He’s been wearing noise cancelling headphones, that are blue tooth so that he can also listen to music, binaural beats, theta waves, etc….for 11 years. When his other ones broke, the sales person found the same ones for me again, online to order, since they were no longer available at the store. We ludicrously Best Buy when they honor their warranty’s and are soo helpful. They’ve been short staffed lately, and they’ve still been very helpful when working with him.
