These are my first noise cancelling headphones, so I can't compare to other brands; but I am very happy with them. The sound quality is great and the noise cancelling effect is surprisingly good. Through the app you can select several preset sound settings based on what you are listening to. If you are a sound snob, there is also a customized setting that you can program to your personal preference. I also like that you can select an "awareness" mode so you can hear what is going on around you when needed for safety. Battery life is good. I've used them for a few hours and still not even close to needing to recharge. They can be a little uncomfortable after wearing them for a long time (more than an hour), but it could just be that I'm not used to over the ear headphones. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase and believe these headphones are an excellent performance for the price value.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Soundcore headphone, and it's safe to say that these headphones have redefined my audio experience.
One of the most remarkable features is the noise cancellation. The Headphone managed to create a peaceful sanctuary, effortlessly blocking out the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Whether I was commuting or working in a busy environment, the active noise cancellation worked like a charm.
Comfort is undoubtedly a strong suit for these headphones. The plush ear cushions and adjustable headband provide a snug fit without compromising comfort. I found myself wearing them for extended periods without any discomfort, a crucial factor for those long listening sessions.
The audio quality is where truly stands out. The sound profile is well-balanced, delivering deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. Whether I was immersing myself in music or catching up on podcasts, the Headphone consistently provided an enjoyable and immersive sound experience.
Build quality is robust, giving the headphones a durable feel. The controls are user-friendly, and the battery life is impressive, easily lasting through my daily activities.
In summary, the Soundcore is a remarkable choice for those seeking a harmonious blend of superior noise cancellation, comfort, and outstanding audio quality. These headphones have earned their spot as my go-to audio companion. A definite recommendation for anyone in search of a premium audio experience!
So glad you love the product! Thank you for your support. We promise to continue striving to exceed your expectations!

The Soundcore by Anker Q20i headphones are a fantastic value for anyone seeking premium features at an affordable price. With hybrid active noise cancellation that blocks up to 90% of ambient sound, they’re perfect for travel, work, or immersive listening. The 40mm drivers deliver rich bass and crisp highs, while the 40-hour battery life ensures uninterrupted enjoyment. Comfort is top-notch, and dual-device Bluetooth connectivity makes switching between devices seamless. These headphones punch well above their price point—stylish, powerful, and reliable

I've enjoyed Soundcore earbuds for years. This is my first experience with their overhead earphones, and my first pair of overhead earphones in over a decade.
These are a great introductory product for headphones. They're not the best, but excellent for the price. The sound is clear and bass is dynamic. The ANC feature has its limitations when it comes to commuting on public transit (it does not block all extraneous announcements or annoying commuters) but it does better than my Galaxy earbuds.
The headphones are rather comfortable. They feel a bit heavier and oversized, but I do not know if that is unusual or if I am just unused to overhead earphones. But I can wear them for 1+ hours without major discomfort, even when wearing glasses.

I was looking at the Bose QC but I could not justify paying over $200 for headphones (even though they were on sale at the time I was looking). I found these and went ahead with the purchase since it was under $50 (also was on sale lol).
I have not taken these off since I received them today (about 3 hours ago). These are so comfy, more comfortable than my Sony CH710N. ANC is also better than my Sony's.
I tested these on a work call as well and it was very clear. Mic was also better than my Sony's. Clear and doesn't sound like I'm underwater.
In terms of connectivity, I currently have it connected both to my phone and my laptop. It's working really well, I play music through my phone but when I have to watch work videos on my laptop, the music will pause on my phone and the headphones will automatically play the video on my laptop (another feature that my old Sony doesn't do/have).
Overall, I'm in love with it and I'm incredibly happy with my purchase.

My son loves these headphones. They are exactly what he was looking for. Quality sound, noise cancelation, and bass at an affordable price. The headphones are very comfortable and easy to adjust.

This is a great budget alternative to AirPods. I purchased these after mine kept falling out of my ears and switching over to wired headphones. I miss the features of wireless headphones so I got these on a whim, totally worth every penny. Great battery quick charge great external mic for pass-through and comfortable.

This product meets and exceeds all of my expectations by leaps and bounds. I am totally satisfied with this purchase. The product is comfortable, sounds great, and has all the features I have been looking for. I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a device to play music, Bluetooth, and rechargeable. And the price was right, not too expensive, yet worth the price.

I use headphones daily for work and I prefer the over-the-ear style. I've gone through 2 pairs of Sony headphones in the last 3 years, which seemed unreasonable considering their price tag. I decided to give this set a try due to the solid ratings and affordability. So far, I've been very impressed! They're comfortable, sound quality is decent, noise-cancelling is good, battery life is awesome. They have a lot of the same features that my other (more expensive) headphones had. All in all, I'm very happy and would recommend.

I recently got my hands on the Soundcore Q20i, and I must say, it's a budget-friendly marvel. The sound quality surpassed my expectations, delivering a rich audio experience with a surprising depth that you wouldn't typically associate with headphones in this price range. What's more, the comfort level is impressive—plush ear cushions and an adjustable headband make for a snug fit during those long listening sessions. The affordability of these headphones is a real highlight, providing an excellent balance of quality and cost-effectiveness. If you're like me, always on the lookout for a great deal without compromising on performance, the Soundcore Q20i is a clear winner in its category. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their audio experience without breaking the bank.

Best budget headphones that don't feel budget

I got it on sale so it was even more amazing for the price. The noise cancelling is pretty good, the sound quality is great, and the over ear shape of the headphones actually goes all the way over my ears and doesn't touch them weirdly, so they are not uncomfortable. They don't feel cheap, and I love them. I also like how they fold up for travel.

They are comfortable and have decent sound. The noice canceling could be better but for 50 it works. I wish the app had more EQ presets but it’s all custom. They are able to connect to two devices at the some time. I have no issue with that. I use it for teams at work while I’m listening to music on my phone. Overall decent headphones

I love these headphones. I bought them towards the beginning of January and have only had to charge them once. I charged them straight out the box. I haven’t used the noise cancellation feature which per the box reduces playtime, so I most likely would have had to charge it sooner if I had. The headphones are comfortable on my ear, easy to adjust and has great sound. One thing I didn’t like was that the headphones didn’t come with a case, but I found one on Amazon that fits my headphones perfectly. I also like the ability to connect to two devices, most Bluetooth capable devices only let you connect to one at a time. I have these headphones connected to my MacBook and iPhone. I use these items the most and I can easily switch from laptop to phone without having to disconnect from one and reconnect to the other.
Good sound, solid features, and impressive battery

These Soundcore Q20i Over-Ear Headphones with ANC perform well above what I would expect for the price I paid, especially considering I picked them up while they were on sale at $40. I actually purchased these during a road trip after realizing I had left both mine and my son’s headphones at home, so they ended up getting immediate real-world use.
The ANC does not give me any of the “pressure” feeling that some other budget products have, while still being effective. It was able to block out voices and a loud industrial fan almost completely. The transparency mode does work, but can be overly sensitive to environmental noise like wind or fans.
The sound is V shaped, meaning the bass and high frequencies are emphasized while the midrange is slightly recessed, but not to the point where vocals are drowned out. This gives extra punch to things like sub bass in rap music, 808 drums, and bass guitars, while also adding sparkle to higher frequency sounds like cymbals and hi-hats. Vocals and instruments in the midrange still come through clearly. The bass has nice extension and emphasis that still delivers texture without being overly boomy, and the treble is pleasant without being overly bright or sibilant.
They are comfortable, and the pads are very soft, though I can’t speak to their long term durability. The headband is adequate in terms of padding. I did not have an issue with the weight of the headphone, and neither did my son who used them. The build quality is good overall, and the ear-cups can fold, making them more compact for storage. The headband adjusts easily with a good range, though they may be slightly large at their minimum size for smaller users. Even so, my 6 year-old was able to make them work. He quickly figured out how to power them on and off and switch through the ANC modes with minimal instruction during a car ride. (Side note for parents: there is no built in volume limit, so you will need to set it on your child’s device—I found around 70–80% was a safe limit since these can get loud.)
I did not test the onboard microphone, but if it is similar in quality to the microphones used for transparency mode, it should be adequate.
I had no issues connecting to my iPhone or my Android tablet, which should be expected for a device using Bluetooth 5.3. I did not specifically test maximum range, but I did leave my phone in another room at one point and the headphones stayed connected. They also reconnected easily without pairing issues when switching to my son’s tablet.
The battery life is impressive. I was able to get ~5 hours of use each day over 3–4 days and did not need to charge them. Charging is done via the included USB-C to USB-A cable, but no wall adapter is included, so you will need to provide your own. They also include a 3.5mm to 3.5mm headphone cable if you want to use them wired. I have not used them wired nor have I attempted to see if they can be used via USB so I cannot comment on their sound in those use cases.
One downside is they do not come with a case or bag, which increases the risk of damage and makes it harder to keep the included cables together outside of the original packaging.
For context, I have experience with many midrange and high-end wired headphones including the Sennheiser HD600/650, Focal Elear, Hifiman HE-6SE V2, Audeze LCD-2, Beyerdynamic DT880, and V-Moda M-100, along with a wide range of Bluetooth headphones such as the Audeze Maxwell, Beats Solo 3 and 4, Drop + THX Panda, Bose QC35 II, Sony WH-720N and WH-1000XM3/M4, and Apple AirPods Pro (Gen 1/2/3). While my inner audiophile suffers a bit, I can appreciate the convenience that Bluetooth headphones bring in everyday use.
Overall, these are a strong performer for the price with good sound, solid features, and impressive battery life. Great value for the price, especially when on sale.

greatest headphones for its value. I honestly didn’t expect much from these budget headphones, but they really surprised me. The sound quality is way better than I thought it would be—clear highs, solid mids, and bass that’s deep enough to actually feel. They’re super comfortable, even when I wear them for hours, and they don’t feel cheap at all. I also like that they come with a built-in mic, which makes them great for calls or gaming. For the price, I couldn’t ask for more. They’re proof that you don’t need to spend a ton of money to get headphones that sound this good.

I purchased the Soundcore Q20i headphones mainly for the active noise cancelling and long battery life. Overall, they’re a solid pair of headphones for the price, but there are a few trade-offs to be aware of.
The good:
The battery life is ok. I can go a day without charging them, and the advertised long playtime feels accurate. The sound quality is also surprisingly good strong bass, clear vocals, and a nice overall balance, especially if you enjoy deeper low-end tones. They’re comfortable for extended wear and feel lightweight without feeling cheap.
The downside:
The active noise cancelling isn’t the best. It does reduce some background noise, like steady hums or light ambient sounds, but it doesn’t block out voices or louder distractions very effectively. If you’re expecting premium, near-silence-level ANC, these won’t quite deliver.
Overall, the Q20i headphones are an ok option with strong battery life and good sound quality. Just don’t expect top-tier noise cancellation.

Anker makes good products and these headphones are no exception. I’m glad I took a chance on them. The sound is great. I know there are more expensive options with even better sound (as they should, for the cost), but these will do just fine. The noise cancellation is just fine for me. It’s not dead silence, but it allows me to study in public and still feel aware. The ear things (I can’t think of the word right now lol) are comfy, and the connectivity and battery life are A-1. The equalizer app is cool too and I was able to get an even better sound than the default.
I highly recommend.
