I like the fact that it is very portable, has many languages, can translate longer sentences in real-time than some other pocket translators, can save short transcriptions for review on the device and online, and has a built in prepaid 4G service for 2 years. However, I wish that longer voice/reading passages could be recorded such as having a longer transcription mode as some other pocket translators I have used before also had. In addition, sometimes translations of the same exact sentences spoken in one language would vary in the output language, which can be very natural or very literal but still understandable. Also it seems to be more accurate and natural sounding if another language is translated to English and vice versa but when translating from another language such as Chinese to Spanish, or Italian to Yoruba, it is less accurate in comparison than using English by default for the input or output language. Lastly, my two annoyances with the device is related to how the clock feature keeps changing time zones suddenly sometimes-thus being inaccurate- and the major issue regarding the “please speak into the device” pop up that occurs when using the translation button mode for several translation sessions in a row. It suddenly stops recognizing speech but continues to show the pop up as if no one is speaking although there is a live speaker present even in a quiet environment. The newer translations completely stop for a minute or so, not permitting the user to continue the dialogue which can cause an awkward experience when the device fails to translate temporarily. This lag or abrupt stop in translation can be fixed with going in and out of the settings a few times or restarting the device. It is mainly because of this issue that has caused me to give this product fewer stars. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future update. The device is useful for a few phrases here and there throughout the day but for actual dialogue going back and forth between speakers with short phrases but longer interactions, it lags and may even stop responding after a few minutes until it is refreshed.I recommend that you wait for a newer future model or a new update fix.

It’s needs improvement especially in learning verbiage. Often it’s speaks so the other person understands but just barely and sometimes just look at it and say “what the hall”. I know she did t just invite me to her room when talking to Asian super model. Lol being funny but real. It does updates but no idea what it’s updating. With my iPhone I can share messages to go to the techs to analyze and tweak things. I’m English to Chinese dialects. But it doesn’t learn. Also batter life is criminal. When until not being used there is no need it check in with server this of often. I’ll go to sleep at 2am with 75 percent. Surety and wake up and it’s in the red. Only way to trust this devise is to turn it off when not in frequent use. They can do much better

It works really well, it’s not 100% every time. It is certainly 95% accurate. I didn’t have to much issue with having service from the included mobile plan. I would definitely recommend this product. It would be better if they lowered the price a bit as I thought it was a little expensive with all the options out available.

This is a small but amazing machine, and I bought it for 200$, hundred bucks off, can’t beat this price. As I am engaged to be married to a woman from Ukraine, this will be a must have....

This device works great! I use it for work because we have alot of different nationalities working for us and this helps us translate with everyone! I would highly recommend this product!

Useless in two large cities in Colombia. It is supposed to come with free global internet for two years but it didn't work 90% of the time in Colombia.
