    About 1/3 of the episodes are thoughtful and planned out. The other 2/3 are filler with junior high level flatulence jokes. I'm still a fan, but I'd rather they took more time and produced what they are obviously capable of more often.

    I have been watching South Park since Season One. Season 17 seems to be left with much lacking. South Park has always been known for its No-Holds barred humor, but now it seems to be heading just to raunchiness without the humor. The plots just don't seem to be as "innocent" (?) (LOL) as before. I am fairly open-minded (I HAVE been watching SP since Season 1), but I am finding it getting tired and lame. Maybe 1 OK episode on 2 disc set. (All other seasons have been 3 disc) so maybe Matt &Trey realize they are winding down, too.

    not the best season of south park, it seems like the writers have run out of stuff to do that hasn't already been covered by family guy or the simpsons
