Easy to pick up and play, with a very simple interface. Content is surprisingly detailed, considering it is based on an animated TV show, but it only took a few days (roughly 40-50 hours of gameplay) to reach the endgame sequence. It does have a little bit of replay ability, since there are multiple characters to play, but I doubt it changes much, if any, of the storyline. Glad I waited to buy this at a "clearance" type of price, because I would have been disappointed, wanting more content, if I had paid the original retail price.

As someone who has been watching South Park since the very first episode, and has seen every episode at least three times, this game is almost exactly what I wanted from a South Park game. The story is fantastic and hilarious. All the little nods to previous episodes are great. The combat is very fun, if not quite as deep as I would like. Exploring South Park is a lot of fun. The character customization is both deep and hilarious. The characters and town feel as though they were pulled directly from the South Park universe. All things considered Matt, Trey, and Obsidian couldn't have done a much better job. My only real complaint, and it's not about the game itself, is that physical Best Buy stores, at least in Colorado, received no copies of the game. My pre-order needed to be cancelled, and I was forced to order the game through their online store. I didn't receive the game until almost a week after it was released. I don't know who's fault this was, whether it was the distributor or Best Buy. but a better system needs to be implemented to inform those who have pre-ordered that their games will not be arriving on time, or in this case, not at all.

If you love gaming (particularly RPG's) and love South Park, this game knocks it out of the park. It feels like your playing through a long episode of the show, with everything looking exactly as it would on the show, with all the same voice acting and hilarious humor. The game itself is a lot of fun to play as well with a ridiculous story that keeps you laughing.

This game is so awesome! I had to make myself stop playing after a few hours, because I would've played through the night! I'm a huge fan of the show, and this game doesn't disappoint!

I was skeptical before for purchasing, but the game play is kind of addicting. Very cool game for South Park towns as you get to personally explore the town of South Park.

Funny from the start. Can't believe how much of the episodes they crammed into this game. Trey Parker and Matt Stone have to proud of this one, as it is true to the brand and humor.

This is such a fun game. I really enjoy that it's very user friendly and gives you step-by-step in game "how to" do things in the game (using weapons, using magic, general controls, etc). I really liked that the story line is so much like the TV show (I'm a pretty big fan of South Park); there are a lot of references to the show which make it quite fun to play. I'll literally be sitting there laughing at all of the ridiculously funny South Park antics. Overall, this is a great game. It deserves the high ratings it's been getting! The only thing about this game that I saw as a bummer is, the ability to custom map your keys; this game uses WASD controls, which is standard for gaming, but for people like myself who are lefty and use the mouse with your left hand, it doesn't quite work. Normally, I setup my custom movement controls on the keyboard for "IJKL" (almost the opposite of WASD) and my mouse is on the left side. With this game, you're pretty much stuck, so the only way around this was to go out and buy a gamepad control (purchased a Logitech F310 USB PS3 style Gamepad). Having the game pad is quite awesome and this game picked it up right away without having to setup any software. The game will tell you which buttons to press on the gamepad for different controls in the game.

Its a very fun game, runs great on my computer, exactly why I like pc better, this game only on old gen consoles I got it on my nice pc

This is a basic RPG game that will be fun and amusing for SP fans. There are many inside jokes, references, and cameos from the show, so for those who do not watch the show, it might not be as funny. If you judge the gameplay only, it would probably receive 3 stars. The laughs give it a +1.

None of the Best Buy's in Reno had this game in stock, so I had to order it. When it arrived, I expected to be able to install and play the game, but the only thing on the DVD is Valve's Steam Service which you must install and create an account. Only then can you begin downloading the actual game. I only have DSL, so it will take over 6 hours to download. For an off-line game that doesn't even indicate an internet connection is required, I would expect it to install from the DVD. Otherwise, this should have been a direct digital download purchase so I didn't have to wait for the DVD to be shipped before beginning the 6+ hour download.
