Big fan of the movie and the Obama family. This was a great look into how they became a family.

Southside with You is not a great film, yet it is one that will move every viewer. We all remember our first date, but do we every think about someone else's first date, especially that of our former President and Fisrt Lady? This film is a wonderful mirror reflection of the lives of two people who are admired, respected and loved the world over, and it gives us a look at our President and First Lady before either had any indication how their lives would eventually change American history.

We were wary of this film when we first heard of it, but it was spoken of so positively that we knew we would want to buy it, and how glad we are that we did so. We will want to revisit it at times, because it is the story of two young people tentatively reaching out to each other and also the story of two young people who became extraordinary forces for our country.

Bought this for a friend for her birthday. She loved the optics that the Obamas suggested. I find it dangerous to make a film about the love story between a political figure and his wife. It just feels tasteless in its elitism, and romanticism about politics. Ugh. But my friend was happy.

Excellent movie about the president and First Lady and how they meet and feel in love! I love this movie. This movie is a keeper. You can always go back and look at this and it will warm your heart every time you watch it. Excellent movie!!

A charming story about a couple who would later become the President and First Lady of the USA. Offers a window into the personal life of their meeting and love story. A night in date movie.

This is a deep intimate look into their first date. It was an excellent movie and I recommend it to everyone. This is a great love story and we see how great they are today

Overall great film that captured the true essence of a first date of two individuals that would eventually change the course of history in the United States of America.

Great movie and speaks a lot to the history of the first couple. A lot of which I did not know. I am glad I made this purchase.

Just as I was really getting really interested in the movie, it ended. I wanted more of the story, not just the first date.

I know this is a story about the President and the first lady but I just looked at this as a great love story. The Obama's are very nice people.

The movie depicts former President & First Lady Obama well. My only regret is that the movie was too short.
