This is a movie from my late childhood that I absolutely loved! A very funny movie that's family-friendly yet has enough wink-wink nudge-nudge moments for the grownups. Goofball aliens invading a small town & neither side is what you'd call "intelligent life". My only grievance with the DVD is some of the audio was absent .. presumably in the transition to digital. Still a great movie!

It’s strange how I forget this movie. Strange because I loved it as a kid. When I was reintroduced, I bought a copy immediately. The time gap made me think it was gonna be bad. But it’s actually better than I remember. My son loved it also

This movie is a kid friendly scifi film that I grew up watching as a kid in the early 90’s. Highly recommend this because of the sweet bonus features which are new to this bluray release

Bought this so my kids could see what kinds of movies I watched as a kid. They weren't impressed!!!

Older movie but still great! Royal Dano at his best!

Cute at times. Very funny at times. Kept my interest throughout the movie. I was happy to see actor Royal Dano in such a large role. His presence kept my interest going.

If you’re looking for E.T. Star Wars. Star Trek or any other alien inspired movie. Wrong choice. However, if you’re looking for a movie that pokes fun at all the other movies and space movie hero’s at once. This is your movie. Stupid, ridiculously underrated visual affects you will find almost anywhere. But some of the best One lines of any film out there. The plot is simple. Mars goes to war. It goes badly for them. One group of Hapless Martians decide they want to get in on the fighting too. However during Halloween on earth, a radio station decides to broadcast the original airing of H.G. Wells war of the worlds. And the Martians inadvertently assume this is the attack lead by their people. This leads to several miss adventures including crashing their ride, going on a trick or treat and having their leader run over by a pickup truck. Hilarity Ensues. As low budget as it is. Its great fun to watch

The characters stay true to form and it follows a basic comedy formula. I liked it, my kids liked it. Fun for the whole family. This is not a high brow movie, but them we are just average people at my end.
