Fun movie...one of our family favorites. Although you can predict the ending (the movie cover shows the kids holding up the trophy), it still is great to watch how this team of kids who really have nothing are able to go up against the top college teams in the country and hold their own. If you haven't seen this movie, check it out.

The movie is based on the real-life story of underprivileged high school students and dedicated teachers who persevered against serious obstacles and used their ingenuity and hard work to win a robotics competition, beating teams from prestigious colleges and universities. It's a great example of how the little guy can beat the odds and succeed through courage, hard work, creative thinking, and team work.

This movie shows what it takes for an underdog team in anything to achieve greatness. I believe that underdogs in life are not acknowledged as much people that have everything. This move definitely gives some light to underdogs because not all underdogs are apart of a robotics team and underdogs are in all aspects of life. Such a great film for everyone in the whole family.

Excellent story based on real events. A story about under privileged kids in an under privileged High School who achieved an extraordinary prize using their own wit and cleverness under the guidance of a smart teacher to beat MIT in a scientific robotics contest . Funny and touching.. I enjoyed it very much as well as my teenage grandchildren.

Heartwarming story of a businessman who took a job as a teacher and became a mentor to some students. Based on a true story, the kids overcome adversity and personal issues to learn to become part of a team to create an underwater robot. The movie was based on a true story which is helpful while watching the movie.

After watching McFarland I was trying to keep my expectations low for this movie. I thought McFarland was a great movie. So I was more than happy that this movie exceeded my expectations by a sizable amount. Very happy that I saw this movie with my wife and two sons so that we could enjoy it together.

Based on true events regarding how a high school teacher works with underprivileged kids, many who were brought here by their parents, and they take on college students in a robotics competition. The actors playing the kids are all entirely believable and George Lopez does real acting.

I really enjoyed this movie. It really shows what good things a group of kids can do if they put there minds to it and work together. It was funny, sad but most of all inspiring. What made it better is it was based on a true story.

The movie depicts the teaming of an unliky group that come together to beat the odds and those who were suppose to win. It serves to ensire and encourage the underdog. We can raise to the challege with support and encouragement.

We watched it as a family. Very motivating and inspirational. A must see for kids to follow their dreams and never give up. George Lopez did a great job on a non-comedy role. Great overall.

I found the video to be a great motivational video for the students in my high school class. The students could connect with the actors and I have recommended this video title many times.

The film is moderately powerful in its exploration of the Latino students' lives outside the classroom, yet the dominant sequences involving the competition set the tone of robotics competition.

This was a great movie based on a true story. Very inspirational and I'm glad there are still people out there who care enough to assist young adults in reaching their goals!

Very inspiring story. This movie will make you laugh one moment and then cry the next. The actors did an excellent job of making their characters seem true to the story.

Kids with a lot to lose trying to do something that seems impossible, at first. Then you find out this really did happen! Wow! A movie everyone should see.

Inspirational and moving. How out of nothing people can change the ways how people live, think and act towards each other.

Another great movie especially for teenagers and young adults. If you can dream it you can do it. Never give up on your dreams.
