This is a great conversation piece. But, actually a very convenient night light. You don't have to turn on the bathroom light when you have to use the john in the middle of the night. This way you don't get those squinty eyes from the instant brightness of turning on the lights. Also the grandchildren thought it was hilarious to see light in the bowl!

I love this product, and so does she. Our fan is on the same switch as the light and those middle of the night trips were a decision of sit, stand and pray, or wake the partner by turning on the light. I love the light cycles!(note that the instructions are in the battery compartment)
