    I made this movie a gift to someone who saw the remake and had not seen the original. The original version makes the remake look weak.

    This movie takes you back to a more innocent period in time. When music actually said something. I have loved this movie since the first time I saw it many MANY years ago. The songs, the costumes FABULOUS! Irene Cara and Phillip Michael Thomas (before Miami Vice) did an amazing job
