When I first saw this steelbook I was mesmerized. It was such a beautiful design and I was disappointed I may never get to purchase it before finding it a month later on sale at my local Best Buy. While the least Kubricky Kubrick film, its still an amazing film.

Best quality ever. Universal has hit it out of the park. A significant improvement over the well reviewed recent Blu-Ray release from Universal. A great disc. If you love 4K UHD your collection needs this disc or cinephiles will laugh at you.

Pervious Blu-ray version from Universal was unwatchable, but his 70mm restoration from the original camera negative is breathtaking. Don't miss this one. It features a HD interview with 98 year-old Kirk Douglas who says, "I am Spartacus," who's going to argue?

This 4K transfer is truly excellent and it blows away my old 2010 blu-ray copy. The audio mix is much improved. This is one of the BEST classic Hollywood historical epic films and if you’re gonna own it, should be in the best quality possible.

Awesome epic movie from its time that still holds up today. The 4k makes it look a lot better and sharper than the original. This version comes with the extended version of the film which is great!! Great Stanely Kubrick movie!!

This is a classic Hollywood movie in every sense of the word. This was my first time seeing it, and loved it. The picture quality looks absolutely stunning in 4K. They did a excellent job on this transfer. The SteelBook is equally fantastic.

I really love is steel book version of a classic movie Spartacus. Best Buy and their steel books are great! I'm collecting them. And the movie Spartacus totally redone here, well let me just say it'll never look better than this.

I do wish I had known the 4K was coming out before I bought this edition (I bought this in February). It is a beautiful restoration and the artwork for the steel reminds me of the Criterion release. Definitely a must see film!

Love this movie even 59 years later! Kirk Douglas is amazing and so was Jean Simmons! Love the HDR work as well as the DTS:X! Steelbook art Is amazing too and love the bonus features on the making of this instant classic !

Best 4k restoration I’ve ever seen. I mean... wow! The colors are so bright and vivid and the level detail is out of this world. And the sound is incredible! You don’t wanna miss this. Pick it up if you’re a fan!

The Stanley Kubrick classic, Spartacus is an epic film in every definition of the word. This new 4K UHD release of it somehow breathes new life into this film. A timeless movie that has never looked or sounded better.

I was 14 when I first saw this film in high school. Today I am 22. I love Kirk Douglas and everything Stanley Kubrick has directed. This is one of the most epic and most anticipated film I have ever seen in my entire life and beautifully restored in 1080p HD picture. This is one that must be owned on Blu Ray!

A classic epic film got a great film remaster..best it's ever looked and sounded in the home! Great SteelBook packaging is a bonus!! Now can we please get Mandalorian on 4K UHD Blu-ray..a SteelBook would be a bonus!!

I have never got tired of watching this classic movie and when I recently saw it in 4K I just had to get it even though I have the DVD copy. It comes with its SteelBook which makes it a great movie collector’s item;

Stunning picture restoration and sound. Excellent special features and a really cool Steelbook in 4k! That is all I have to say. Wow, my dreams have been answered for this Kubrick and Kirk Douglas classic.

This movie is definitely one of Kirk Douglas’s best roles. I feel that this movie set the way for movies like Gladiator. It is filmed beautifully and this 4K transfer makes the color pop off of the screen.

This 4K new restoration transfer of Spartacus is stupendous. The colors, the detail, the artfully-enhanced audio up to DTS:X; it's a masterpiece that deserves a home in any serious cinephile's collection.

This is a funny silly film made even funner because it's now in 4K UHD. 4K is the future if you don't have it you need to get on the ball seriously. Best picture and sound you can possibly get.

I initially saw this movie as a teenager and did not hesitate making a purchase when I saw that it has been reformatted in 4k. My family along with my sons know that this is one of my favorite movies.

This is a 5 star release all around. Technically, this movie has been enhanced and shows a greatly improved picture, and sound and especially benefits from the 4K enhancements. I highly recommend!
