Great story, action, and acting from a stellar cast. Very good movie, and a must see.

When a beautiful human-alien hybrid escapes from observation, scientist Xavier Fitch dispatches a crew of experts to find her before she is able to fulfill her horrific purpose: to mate with unsuspecting men and produce offspring that could destroy mankind. As her deadly biological clock ticks rapidly, Fitch and his team are hurled into a desperate battle in which the fate of humanity itself hangs in the balance!

This movie was full of action and this is one movie that didn’t drag before getting good.

This is a fun little sci-fi flick, good cast. Glad scream factory put out a CE. I love scream factory & with Best Buy great prices they've had on scream factory releases lately, it was an easy buy, Hope Best Buy keeps these pices coming.

I have all 4 of these movies on DVD and have have been looking for them on Bli-Ray. This is a good Sifi movie, and as hoped Blu-Ray made the picture and sound much sharper. I am pleased. I admit it's a little far fetched, but I like most of the actorin.

This is one of those films you cant forget and much of that is due to the gorgeous and always sexy Natasha Henstridge as the deadly alien. There's been alot of films similar to this in recent years but this is the original and the best.

Enjoyed the movie a lot, the CGI in some cases to do not hold up, but for the most part everything else was very good. Has some carry over features from the dvd, but also some new stuff!

I dont know how many of these movies they have made but the first one is the only one that is good all the others are not that good even the second one was horrible.

Though Species does not get a lot of love that it deserves, I find it quite entertaining. Good video and audio. A lot bonus content. Rounds out with a great cast.

Beware what you sow! After scientists combine human and alien DNA, yeah, things go bad. Terrific special effects, a brisk pace, good story and acting make this a keeper.

Not a great movie but this is a great blu Ray release from Shout Factory. Definitely worth picking up if you are a fan of this movie

Blu-ray loaded with features and extras, Always liked the movie but I have to admit the high definition points out the low budget.

This movie wasn't going to win any awards when it came out, but I'm big Sci-Fi/Horror movie buff, and the fact of the matter is, this movie was just fun. Watching it recently, was just as much fun as when I went to the theater to see it when it came out. The first sequel was ok, but the ones after left much to be desired. None held a candle to the original.

I enjoyed this film and dvd very much, it’s a Sci-Fi classic that delivered non stop thrills.

The first Species movie is the best in the series and lives up to the hype. Watch this movie.

Species is a cool horror flick. I remember when it came out.

Slight upgrade from original blu ray. Picture looks real good. Bonus material very good!

Surprisingly deep cast and an interesting plot that is slightly above the usual SciFi fare.

I have a soft spot for this gross, goofy, charmingly crazy little action-horror gem. I was hoping for years that we would get a true special edition with commentaries and supplemental material, and it's finally here! Shout Factory has done an amazing job!

Classic sci fi horror flick. Nice packaging. Good video. Worth a look
