These Speck Candyshell cases are wonderful. My wife has been using them on various iPhones over the years and even with my two kids dropping her phone constantly it has always protected it. Her iPhone 4s was even submerged in water with a Candyshell case on it and continued to function just fine after drying it out (though the second submersion caused the external speaker to fail). I'm so happy Speck is finally manufacturing these for the One. It fits perfectly, makes the phone less slippery to hold, doesn't add a considerable amount of bulk, and has already protected my phone from a few drops. The only problem with them is the surface will show scratches on it almost immediately. It functions like a champ though, and can easily slide in and out of my pocket.

While this vase isn't the most protective of cases, it does look good and provides protection from scratches and minor drops. The back of the case scratches very easily, though. It feels really good in the hand, and does not add a lot of bulk to the phone. For the price, however, you could get a similar case that is just as good, if not better. This case would be more practical if it wasn't so expensive.

I have had it for 2 months so far and it has saved my phone twice. It has a nice cushioned lip that goes over the glass so when I dropped it on the corner of the phone on hard tile from about 3 feet high, NO damage to the phone or the case really. I do believe that if I didn't have the case on it would have cracked the screen for sure, so money well spent. It also doesn't stick to your pants pocket. It slides in-and-out of your pocket pretty easy.

I needed a case that was not heavy or had a clunky feel. I also did not care for a holster because I am not the one to show off my phone hanging from my belt, not my style. This case looks and feels very nice. It has rubber on certain areas and it comes very handy to keep it from sliding. I would have liked a clear color since I got the golden M8 but choices where limited; have the black and I'm happy with it. It fits nicely in my pocket. Great purchase.

This is a really good case for those that don't want to add bulk to an already large phone. This phone is so beautiful I hated to put a case on it at all but I also didn't want the phone to get scratched, so I went with this case. It fits good and doesn't add un-needed bulk to the phone. The only complaint I have is the shiny finish- the back is pretty scuffed up already. I would have preferred a matte/satin finish but that's a small issue and doesn't hurt the functionality of the case at all. I would recommend this case.

This is a good starter case, however there are other cases for about the same price that provide built in screen protectors. I only purchased this to provide some extra safety until my new case arrived in the mail.

Didn't really want to put a case on my phone but it can be a little slick with the smooth back. This case was a good price, snapped right on my phone in about 2 seconds and I haven't had any "almost" drops since.

Great case for the price. It does not bulk up the phone at all. Fits in the back pocket perfectly.
