Like most other Apple compatible products this item is overpriced but if it lasts the life of my laptop and keeps it from getting scratched up then it is mostly worth it.

Obviously this case adds some bulk - any case will. But this is fairly minimal. The install is 20 seconds, and the look is very sleek. The apple logo can be seen when lit up, making it almost look like one of the old black MacBooks we all loved. Texture is pleasant, but does attract a little oil sheen from handling. I noticed that the clips that secure it are a little smaller than on some other cases i've had. If you grab it the wrong way (like carrying it while open), you can accidentally pop one off. But it goes right back on - and this is better than some cases which you need a crowbar to get off!

This is a great case for my MacBook Pro. It protects it from scratches while enhancing its looks. Its grippy yet silky texture makes it easier to carry the laptop without fear of dropping it. The laptop remains cool thanks to its perfectly positioned ventilation slots. The rubberized feet help it remain steady on your lap even while not sitting straight.

I am impressed with this product. I usually buy INVISIBLEshield to protect my entire device and was happy to see that this case covered the top and bottom of the computer very well. It fit snugly and securely and its weight is negligible. I bought an aqua-colored case (so it stands out) and I put pictures under the cover (so it is personalized). I tried removing the cover and it took a lot of effort (it does come off without leaving any mark on the computer). I like this because when I travel, this could deter thieves. Or at least, frustrate them because they would not be able to use the device (and pretend that it is theirs) if they happen to be traveling on the same plane or bus <g>!

I just purchased a new MacBook and had to get a new Speck case to go with it. Great thin design allows me to forget it is even on the computer. Provides good protection from very low drops on the edges and scratches and bumps from moving around in a backpack with school books.

There are not too many choices when it comes to having an actual case on a MacBook, so when we came across this, we had to order it. It's a beautiful color, but we have concerns that if we were to mistakenly drop it, the case would just shatter. It is made out of a type of hard plastic and not rubberized other than the four small nubs at the corners to keep the computer steady. We still think it's better than having nothing at all on it.

Got a great deal on this one. The fit was perfect and I don't worry about scratches any longer.

I got this case right after I punched a macbook pro and I'm glad I did. It looks stylish while also protecting the top and bottom of the laptop while It's closed. Definitely recommend people to get this for their macbook if they don't already have it.

I've used the Speck cases on any MacBook i've purchased, they're great looking cases and help prevent from the dings and hits of life. I recommend taking the case off your computer every few months and cleaning both the case and your computer; over time dust and debris will get caught under the case. Be careful putting the case back on your computer as i ended up breaking mine about 2 weeks after buying it.

The case I bought for my new Apple Pro is lovely, but it got cracks within the first 2 weeks where you lift the lid of the computer up. It will still protect the computer from scratches, but it cost too much to have cracks so early in the game.

This cover was exactly what I was hoping it would be! Not bulky at all, and the computer doesn't move from the desk very often so it's just enough protection. I love how the apple lights up through the cover!

Looks good and protect my Mac very good. Not heavy at all.

I bought it to protect $2500 investment. It is good quality and easy to install. Price is a little high for piece of plastic though. I used my rewards otherwise I would shop somewhere else.

You Can't go wrong with purchasing this case for the 15' MacBook Pro. Installed it in less that a minute, and it fits like it came from the factory. Great Protection against scratches.

The Speck case is a great, protective case for the Apple MacBook. I wanted something that wouldn't change the appearance, but would help prevent scratches. This fills the bill.

Provides much better protection than a soft case alone, highly recommended for full protection. Fits real well, does NOT interfere with any ports/power connection.

Protects the laptop from scratches and minor nicks. The back tabs on the bottom cover are the weakest part... take care of them when you install them. However, even with care they are usually the first part to break. But this is typical for most of the cases of this type for MacBook Pros.

This cover is great. Love the design and color and it does a fear great with protecting my computer. Sergio helped us so much with finding what we needed.

The case fits well, performs well and gives the macbook a very low key stealth look. The apple logo still shines through the case which is a bonus.
