The biggest downside is that there is no secure that prevents the case from lifting slightly and therefore I can hear the ipad turning on and off. The cover can open up in a flimsy manner depending on how I hold the ipad.

Excellent case for 6th generation (2018) iPad

The case seems sturdy while adding very little thickness. The iPad can easily be propped in both the reading and typing positions. The sleep function works well and the clasp does a good job of keeping the cover closed. Wrapping the cover around against the back of the case allows you to engage the clasp to keep the cover from flopping around while it’s open.

It does no have a good mechanism to keep the iPad standing up. It is good for the price but I should have paid a little more for one that will stand up better.

I was afraid the times when I used her iPad that I may drop and break it. This gives her iPad protection from bumps. Plus, it allows her to prop up her iPad while she's eating for better viewing of her iPad screen.

This case is perfect if you know you are not a clumsy person that drops the ipad every time. I do wish that it had a stronger magnetic hold.
