Hard to hold for small fingers but it will do. It lays flat and works well with wireless chargers. Even with cheap wireless chargers from tjmaxx

My daughter has many medical problems including losing sensation in her limbs. She dropped her Google Nexus 5 and the screen scattered a few weeks ago so she upgraded to the LG G7 ThinQ and now has this grip attached to its case so even if she loses sensation her smartphone will not fall. Plus, she loves the teal color.

    Finger Grip for Adults

--SETUP--- The setup for this finger grip was easier than I expected. I just washed the back of the phone with some lite soapy water, waited for it to air dry, and installed the grip. ---FEATURES--- The key feature of this finger grip is that it gives your phone a kickstand and a finger grip in one while allowing it to be flat until needed. ---PERFORMANCE--- The performance of this finger grip was great. Waited 5 minutes after installation and after that, I held the phone upside down from just the grip for a good while to test it out and the glue never came off. ---EXPECTATIONS--- The product meets my expectations. One thing that I love is that you can install these over hardcover cases and not the actual phone itself. This allows your phone to have that extra coverage from the case you purchased but also give it a cool kickstand/finger grip. ---VALUE--- The price for the grip in terms of value is great, considering the original circle versions are just as pricy but this one looks less like a toy and more for an adult. ---APPROVAL--- I highly recommend this product for people who have been wanting a finger grip/kickstand on their phone without removing their protective case.

Just what I was looking for. Easy to use and sturdy. The price was great also. It has held up nicely for the 3 weeks I've had it. I also like that it is flat and not bulky. It fits well in my back pocket.

Good value phone grip, neat and well designed. It’s a name card holder thick and stick firmly on case I have. A nice matt bluish grey color, I love it.

Provides the needed grip for big phones

The Speck Grab Tab is a must for big phones like the One Plus 6T. The loop design securely holds the phone in place with 1 or 2 fingers. I can comfortably use my phone single handly without the fear of dropping it. Another added benefit is the ability to use it as movie stand to watch movies on a plane ride or at your desk. The thin profile helps with not adding much bulk to your phone. Works well with the thin case provied by One Plus 6T. Overall is good alternative to the pop up buttons grips.

The Speck Grabtab is a device accessory that you glue to the backside of your phone or phone case. According to its specs, it’s 2.1” tall, 3.4” wide, and 0.1” deep. It comes with a good amount of glue (some sticky substance) on its backside, which is covered by a plastic film. Pull off the plastic and press the glue side to the back of your phone case, and that’s all it takes to install it. I happen to use a Speck case for my Pixel 3 XL. It’s the no-slip-grip version that has raised grip lines on the back. It’s the Presidio Grip model. I mention this because I was curious to see if the Speck Grabtab would stick to the back of my case. And yes, it feels solidly affixed. The Speck Grabtab is rectangle in shape and has a slide flap that sits in the middle of the Grabtab. It has a small raised tab at the bottom where you place your finger to push upward. You slide it upward for a couple of inches before the tab clicks in place to stay put. It has an almost inch-worm look about it when the slide tab is raised. When the tab is moved back down to its flat position, the slide flap is completely unobtrusive. I can slide my phone into my pants pocket or jacket without problem, and into my car’s phone holder without problem. See attached photos. I don’t use a wireless charging dock with my phone. Even so, the documentation indicates that the Grabtab will not interfere with wireless charging. When the slide flap is raised, it creates a slot for one (or possibly more) fingers to be inserted. This allows you to have a pretty decent grip on your phone without fear of dropping it. Or, while the slide flap is raised, you can place the phone on a flat surface for landscape viewing - perhaps to watch a movie, read an article, or whatever. I do find it handy, especially when showing other people some movie or article on my phone. Plus, the ability to place my phone down on its long side to read articles is a real winner. I haven’t had the Grabtab long enough to gauge how durable it is, and at this writing its durability is my only concern. Yet, so far, so good!

It’s significantly thinner than a popsocket and it’s supposed to allow for Qi charging, so I picked one up. Used it most of the day, then put my Max on a Qi charger for a bit and was noticing warm after charging and as soon as I tried to use the “loop” it popped off, it didn’t even make it a full day...guess I’ll try supergluing it or something, but this item doesn’t even come up on Speck’s website for me to contact them about it.

I want to love this little tool, but i have a couple of small issues with it. It is about the size of a credit card and if you have a fancy expensive case with any sort of graphic design on it. it is going to cover most of the back of the phone. especially if you have a smaller phone. secondly the position it folds up into makes it kind of odd to hold with your finger. your finger just does not naturally fall into that position on the back of the phone. well at least my finger. Those two things aside, it can be quite handy when you want a more secure and somewhat comfortable grip when using your phone. its hard to type on an iPhone with one hand, but i assume you swipers will not have the issues i have with it. i like using it as a kickstand more than using it to hold in one hand. having a kickstand on the back of your phone is sweet for viewing videos on the go. build quality feels sufficient, it should last you a while. the adhesive on the back is pretty strong and i would not recommend trying to remove it from your case after you install it. take care in choosing the placement before applying the adhesive to the back of your case. i would recommend this to a person who wants a kickstand and likes the thought of having a secure hold on your phone without having to resort to one of those other odd looking ones. i enjoy the sleek and modern design of it.

Compact Stand - Finger Loop Not Perfect

This is an easy way to add a useful stand to your phone, but I couldn't comfortably use it to hold my iPhone 7 using the finger loop. Pros - Secure attachment - Flat when not in use - Stand works well and is convenient. I use this often. Things to Consider - Finger Loop was too high on the phone for me to type easily and it is perpendicular to the phone so it makes it awkward to use while talking. -The mounting plate is wide so it works best on cases with a wide flat area on the back. It is good size and will not look right on every case. On a regular iPhone you need to mount it as close to the bottom as possible. - The finger loop may not fit your hand. I found it small for two fingers, but loose with only one. - The glue is very strong and this will not be easy to remove if you want to take it off. This is a neat idea, but it isn't for everyone. You should test it in store if possible and don't mount it until you are ready. I would still recommend it for anyone who needs a stand.

Nice idea, but a little awkward and felt heavy.

This Speck GrabTab is a great idea. It's sleek, it lays flat when you don't want to use it, and then with the slide of a finger, a loop appears that you can put your finger through. It's well made, seems like it will be durable and should last a while. First things first, I cleaned off the back of a brand new iPhone 8 case and went to stick it to the back. There is a clear plastic film over the adhesive. I thought this should peal off easily to reveal the adhesive. Unfortunately, the plastic film was quite difficult to remove, as the adhesive is really strong (a good thing) but the little tab to release it is so small and hard to grip, to combat the stickiness of the adhesive. After picking at the edges, I was able to remove the plastic film, revealing the adhesive, but before I could stick it to the iPhone case, I had to clean off extra adhesive residue around the edge of the Speck GrabTab otherwise any pocket lint would stick to it in an instant. Once that was done, I carefully stuck the GrabTab down as low as I could on the iPhone case. The adhesive, as mentioned is very strong, so take your time to position it. I managed to get it into the right position straight away, thankfully, as I am not 100% sure you'll have a chance to reposition this after the fact. I slid up the loop and put my finger through. For me, it was a little awkward to reach my thumb around to press the home button for Touch ID using the loop, with my middle finger through the loop. I adjusted to my forefinger, and that was uncomfortable and un-natural to me. And that is the caveat here, everyone's hands are different sizes and widths, and we all have different sized phones, so this is not a bad product, it does what it's supposed to do, but for me, it was uncomfortable. Feeling the iPhone's weight with this GrabTab attached made it 'feel' like it weighed twice as much, again, it didn't weigh twice as much, but it felt like it did, as there is obviously something on the back of the phone now that wasn't there before. So with the reach feeling awkward to my grip/phone position, and it feeling heavier than I was used to, I had to remove the product from the back of my phone. In summary, this is a well made product, with a strong adhesive, that does what it says it does, but in my real world testing of it, it was just a little uncomfortable and awkward feeling for me to want to continue to use it. However, a different placement, different sized phone, different sized hand will yield a different result, so this is not a bad product. Just didn't work for me.

Wireless charging solution vs. PopSockets or Rings

If you're looking for a way to add a "grip" to your device, this is a good alternative if you use wireless charging. If you don't use wireless charging, I would say a popsocket or ring might be a better choice. Unlike the other products, this one allows the phone to lay nearly flat, and since it's all plastic (not BPA-free though, per the warning on the packaging), it allows full compatibility with wireless charging. The near flat design when closed also provides protection for the camera lens, in that it keeps the back of your phone from laying flat. The downsides are that the design is such that the "ring" where you insert your finger is at a fixed 90 degree angle, perpendicular to the length of the phone, which might be uncomfortable, depending on how you are used to naturally gripping your phone. Also, it's not as easy (for me anyway) to slide the "ring" open and closed with one hand as Speck says. Also, the adhesive that is used to attach to your case seems very strong - I don't think I'll be able to take this thing off again. Similar to the other products, once opened, it provides a good stand for a flat surface to hold your phone in landscape orientation.

I really like this kick stand. It installs easily by removing a plastic strip to reveal a strong adhesive that affixes the stand to the back of your phone. The stand is rather thin in comparison to most, and that is what I love about this. Many add a lot of bulk, some as many as a few inches of depth, to an already large phone. This sits flat, adding only a bit to the phones thickness, and has an easy slide out piece of plastic to create the kick stand, that can be quickly slid back into the stand. If you look at the picture, you can see the plastic stand in its out position, a simple slide of the thumb is all it takes to change the stands position. I also have 2 different QI chargers, one stand up and one lay down, and both worked just fine. I am very pleased with the function of this kick stand.

This is a great alternative to the popular pop socket. I actually like it much better since it lays very flat and still allows me to wirelessly charge my phones. I attached this one to a Spigen Liquid Air Armor case for my Galaxy S8 Plus. I lined up the part that becomes a kickstand with the middle of my phone, but looking back, I wish I had centered the entire part more so on my phone. That's the one con with this kickstand, once it's on, it's on.

I like my Speck Grab Tab! I’ve always been a fan of Speck products for their durability and craftsmanship, and this product definitely delivered! Like advertised, it does work with a wireless charging pad. The grip works well too, and the kickstand feature is my favorite thing about it. My only reason for giving this 4 stars is that it’s pretty wide, taking up almost the whole surface area of my iPhone X. Otherwise the installation is very easy comes with decent instructions.

I’ve used pop sockets in the past but they always left my with sore fingers and unsightly indentions. This is great because you can actually use more than one finger to hold your phone up. Also, it’s great to slide your fingers under and use as a carrying assist when walking around. When not in use, it slides flat against your phone so there’s noting sticking out. It’s also wireless charging capable!
