The Speck - Presidio ExoTech for Samsung A42 - Clear case is an excellent cover for because it fits perfectly, provides a great surface for holding the phone while talking and picture taking, and it looks good. Having a similar case for an older phone, I know that it provides some protection if the phone were to fall to the floor. The edge of the case rises slightly above the face of the phone providing some protection against scratches and moisture.

Case is very sturdy and seems well made. It's easy to clean so far and looks good on the Samsung A42 5G phone, and lets the phone color/design shine through.  The clear case does not show any bubbles/air pockets as I've read in reviews of other clear cases.  It is crystal clear. It also feels very secure in your hand when handling the phone and is very light.  I would consider this a slim-type case, which is what I was looking for.  So it will offer minimal protection to the phone if dropped. I did intend to use a screen protector with this case but the case is fairly stiff and fits the phone so tightly that it doesn't seem very compatible with using a screen protector, unless the screen protector is very thin or doesn't extend to the edges of the case.  So maybe I'll need to try a different one. In fact, the case fits so tight that on one occasion the SD card became dislodged in the phone when I put the case on.  This is because Samsung puts the release button for the SD slot on the top left-hand edge of their A42 5G  phone.  So be careful not to put too much pressure on this area when installing the case. All said, I'm happy with the Presidio clear case.  If you're looking for a slim case that doesn't change the look of your phone, it's a good choice.  Although,  for the minimal protection it offers, I think it is rather pricey.  I would have liked to spend a little less.

Simple and durable. I would recommend this. I like a case that allows me to put my phone face down without the screen contacting the surface. Works great.

Perfect slim fit. Looks great and provides support. Not slippery. Why not 5stars? Just out of caution, last clear case I had got stained very quickly.

I love this case!! Ive actually have bought 2 of the already. The only thing is thay the case turns yellowish after a few months. Its clearwith glittler flakeson it and i like that you can see the color of my phone . Its super cute in the sun!! Works great! Ive dropped my phone a couple of times and the case took it all, my phone is in great shape and no issues.

Great protection! Easier to hold onto phone! And still fits in a carrier!
