You need a screen protector for sure, and you're still going to have that crack from drops under 5 ft. The grip on the sides also flakes off with time. It's cheap though, so I guess I'd buy again. Just be sure to have a good brand screen protector.

This case is rugged and tough. I have dropped my phone several times on all types of surfaces and have not had an issue. The case is thin enough that it supports wireless charging just fine.

This case didn’t last as long as would have hoped, the plastic around the speaker and charging port broke. I would have given this a 2 star rating for this, but Speck’s customer service was awesome and replaced the case. Their warranty paperwork was easy and they shipped out the case quickly.

of course phones go everywhere (vehicles, boat, side by sides, etc.), but not all places have an ideal location for phone. this case seems to say put when left on flat surface

Obsessed with this brand and the style of case. Had this exact same case for past iPhones and it lasts for YEARS with soo many drops. Not a scratch on the phone! Very shock absorbent.
