I'm not sure how it would work if you accidentally dropped your phone. It is not a hard case, it is a light weight stretchable plastic material that conforms to the shape of your phone. Your phone can still fit comfortably in your pocket since it is not a bulky case. I do however feel that the case was a little pricy for the quality.
