Like all Speck cases, this case gives sturdy protection to your device when needed. My iPad has worn a Speck case since I bought it last year and have been glad to have it on there the couple of times I’ve inadvertently dropped the iPad. I’m expecting the same protection from this phone case.

Overall this a nice case expect for one feature. There is a rotating knob built into the left side of the case that is used to flip on/off the silent button switch on the iPhone. Initially it worked great, although I rarely use this on my phone and typically leave on silent all the time. Over a few month the plastic just broke apart and now it no longer works. Like I mentioned, I rarely mess with the silent button switch on my phone so it broke after relatively few actuations. Which is a bummer because it initially worked great. Now if I want to actuate the switch I have to remove my phone from the case to do so.

The case surely does protect all edges and the back of the iPhone, but it is significantly larger than some of the silicon cases on the market. The grey color is cool, and matches the black or white phones. The switch on the side is cool, but can get snagged on fabric or in your pocket.

I love that it offers great protection. Protects all the buttons along with lightening connection cover. Prevents dust and other debris from getting in there. I do not like the finish. No texture and super slippery. Phone has fallen out of my hands a few times... no good

I wanted a durable case that will not be too bulky. This does the job. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the flap that covers the charger port. It’s a bit hard to open and it doesn’t really stay nicely open once I have the cord there. Something to fix but otherwise very nice
