Let me start by saying that this case is very protective. My issue with it stems from the peeling that began after only having the case for a little more than two months. I work with phones daily, so I know this is a great brand of cases overall. I'm also very careful with my devices because of what I do. I didn't drop the case or scratch it before noticing that the red rubber coating had begun to peel off. This left a noticable white scar visible. I will reach out to speck for a replacement, but will be switching to another case that is cheaper, looks great, and is more durable for my daily use option.

The rubber has started to peel away from the case. The switch on the side of the phone to silence the phone had been deformed from constantly using it. Which I have to for meetings

I love this case. It protects the phone, and yet is not that bulky. I also like the looks. After reading the reviews complaining about the stiffness of the side buttons, I tried the case in the store. The volume buttons work perfect, the right side button is a bit stiff, but not worse than other protective cases. After 10 days of usage, I still like it. I have not dropped the phone yet, but I think it will protect the phone just fine. I also like that while the phone fits tight on the case (which is good) it is easy to take the case off the phone and back on. Sometimes I switch to my battery case, and I like that is easy to remove the case. However, my advise with all cases is to try them in the store before buying.

Truly is non-slip, has a feel that’s soft to touch. I love the matte black look. No hassle taking on or off phone. Very lightweight for how thick it is. One little thing... I gave four stars because the case makes my volume and power buttons nearly impossible to push. I’m having to press ridiculously hard on them to get them to work. Makes tasks such as screen shotting or adjusting the volume very irritating to do. I finally said forget it and turned on the assitive touch on my phone.

I like cases that are not bulky. This case is great! I like the turn button to turn on volume or off. Before you had to move the bar but that turn button is awesome. It is hard, which I think will break in, to hit the right button to use Apple Pay, also to unlock and turn up/down the volume. I also like the cover over the lighting port.

This is a great case for the iPhone X. Fits perfectly, protects the phone very well, feels comfortable and looks great! Worth the price.

I’ve used a mix of Otterbox and Speck cases through years of iPhone ownership and after trying several cases I went with the Presidio Sport for the excellent soft-touch feel and antimocrobial coating on this case. The fit is amazing, phone feels very protected, but I can still take it out for occasional cleaning without feeling like I’m going to snap the case or break/fling my all-glass phone across the room. Port cover still works a year later, and the rotating knob for the silence switch works every time. The outer coating has worn in places exposing shinier rubber or hard plastic framework underneath, but money well spent to keep my phone pristine through the first year of ownership. Only annoyance was the soft/tacky finish makes it tough to get in and out of deep front pockets - mostly a guy problem and could be a benefit for those who keep their phones in their butt pocket - it will not fall out!

Very protective and an all around great case. Feels good in your hand and isn’t bulky.

Overall this case is gonna protect your iPhone X really well from drops but it’s a tad bulky especially on the sides for some reason. Only other complaint is shotty seams where the rubber wasn’t cut right at the factory, a pocket knife took care of this for me.

I bought two of these cases, one black and the other red. I read all of the bad reviews about the buttons, so I checked the case out at the store before buying it. The case I picked up felt good in my hands and the buttons all worked smoothly and without any issues at all, so I decided to go ahead and buy it with my new phone. A week or so later I noticed that the red case was on sale during Black Friday weekend, so I purchased it as well, but I bought it online. After it arrived in the mail, I noticed that the buttons on it were really hard to push, so I took both cases apart to see what the differences were between them. After removing the black inner inserts on both cases (which was kinda difficult), I noticed that the buttons on the black case had a see through slit along the lower length of the bottom edge of the volume buttons and the sleep button, which freed them up to work properly, but the red case had the buttons molded in solidly without any slits at all. I took an Exacto knife (razor blade) and put a slit under the bottom edge along the length and slightly up both sides of the buttons and created the same see through slit that was on the black case liner, then reinserted the inner liner back into the red case. The buttons on both cases now work flawlessly. The cases are a bit slick though, so I don’t know what Speck means by a sturdy grip because they’re actually kinda slippery. I don’t know why Speck hasn’t resolved the button issues on all of their sport cases. Overall I really do like these cases.

This case is great. Very minimalist, non-slip texture, and it covers all ports so no dust or dirt get in which is great for me. The only problem I have with the case is the buttons are way to hard to press.

I really like the feel of this case and it seems sturdy like all other speck cases I’ve used. However, the buttons are really difficult to push with one hand as other reviewers have noted. Maybe this will loosen up over time but I am returning.

I initially chose this case for its stability and sense of protection for phone. I ultimately returned for another Speck case that was less bulky.

I love the red color and easy to find my phone if I placed it down. The sleek look of the case is really smooth and nice. It’s easy to silent the phone by turning the knob but it sticks out a little. This is why I’m giving the phone cover a four star. Otherwise it’s a lovely case and color and I would still recommend it to a friend.

Great Case. Rubber Case so it doesn't slip out of your hand. I dropped my phone already and it protected it. It also charges my phone on the wireless charger.

This very nice looking case protects the iPhone X much better than the cheap thin aluminum case I use. Unfortunately, the phone charges at a much slower rate on a Qi wireless (Samsung), and, if you use a thin piece of steel inside the case to use to a magnetic car mount, your phone may fall off in traffic. You can glue a steel mount outside the case, but why would you do that to something that looks as good as this?

Sweet case especially for the OCD epidemic currently in effect, which I am not. Is a little slick to touch due to the microbe resistance yet better grip than the IPhone x al natural, love the ringer silencer twist knob feature. Easy for phone to slip in and out case if not wanting to use case during different times of life.
