‘This case was study for my everyday need the only flaw is the the sides of the case need better grip.. other than that my IPHONE XS MAX was protected

Overall the case is a great one. Great protections for those accidental oops on your daily journey. Great material on the outside. If you don’t like a rubbery feel this case is not for you. Only thing I have to complain about the case and I believe it’s just that I got a bad one. The rubber upper layer is peeling on a corner after 2 weeks of use. Will be taking it back to get a exchange. Bestbuy has never given me a problem when something like this happens so hopefully it’s the same case this time. Pros: - Awesome protection. - Rubber material helps it stay in your pocket so won’t slip out. - Charging port has a plug cover so no dust will go inside. - Silent button has a twist button so easier to silent the phone then trying to stick your nail in that small space to slide it. Great feature to me at least it is. - Facing down your phone screen will never touch the surface as long it’s a flat one. Nice curve indent all around. Cons: - Rubber material causes lint to stick to it a lot. This will happen less and less as you have the case I notice. Still a little annoying for few days. - Rubber material when placing inside Jean Pocket makes it a bit difficult to take out. (I wear slim fit Jeans so maybe that’s only me, don’t have this problem with the Candy Shell cases) - Feels like the outer Rubber layer will start to peel off after months of use if you take off the case and put back on many times. Meaning the outside Rubber tuya glued to the inside plastic hard case. - Price a bit much I believe, this can also be that the phone just came out. Other brands offer same protection for about $10-$15 cheaper. 4 stars given because the corner Rubber is pealing off after 2 weeks of use. hoping it’s just that I got a defective one.

After a over a month with this case, I can say I really like it. I've had good luck with Speck cases for all my devices from iPhones to iPads and even shells for Macbook Pros. Admittedly, I wasn't sure at first about the round side "switch" that protrudes slightly and controls the vibrate/ringtone (or whatever you choose to assign to that switch), but it doesn't get in the way. It also keeps you from having to dig around with your finger/fingernail as you normally would in the thicker cases. The case is protective without being too large and the grip coating makes it easy to hold onto and keeps it from sliding around. I know some have issues with sticking to the inner lining on your pocket when pulling it out, but I haven't really run into that problem too much unless the pocket is really loose. It does grip though. The raised lip keeps the screen protected and off surfaces when laying face down and I would guess if dropped flat. All in all, a great case that protects the phone that I would highly recommend.

I got my iPhone XS Max launch day and dealt with a cheap case I bought from an internet rainforest as I was waiting for stores to stock ones from the reliable companies. As I was looking at the Best Buy site, I came across this case from Speck as well as one from Otterbox that I wanted to look at. While the Otterbox cases looked their normal style (and are my usual pick), the Speck case stood out with its red color black buttons and trim so it won out. The first thing I noticed was the red "rubber" (not sure what it is actually made of) stands out which is great since I tend to misplace or forget where I put things with far too much ease. With this, finding it has been pretty easy. Next is the feel of the case. The material despite looking smooth has a great grip to it. You can hold on on with this very easily and on a huge plus, it doesn't drag or get hung up in pockets or bags like some other high grip cases. The buttons are very easy to use. There is just enough stiffness to them that they don't make "phantom" touches thanks to keys or anything else brushing up against them. Finally, something I didn't know I wanted: the Wheel of Silence! I'm sure Speck has a better name for it but I like Wheel of Silence. Anyway, instead of an open area to reach for the silent switch or something else that doesn't quite feel like it works, they have a little wheel, a little dial that sits over the button that keeps that area closed but makes turning the system sounds on and off a breeze.

I typically go for the otterbox and life proof phone cases as I am a complete klutz. Since otterbox is still making such massive cases, I didn't want my new iPhone XS Max to be bulky. The life proof cases haven't come out yet for the iPhone XS Max. In the meantime, I purchased this speck case in Black and so far I have been pleasantly surprised with how great it's been. There are "shock absorbers" inside the case along the sides. The one down side that kind of scares me about this case is that it doesn't have any cover or barrier over the glass to protect the screen. I think that Apple's newest phone have a new type of super strong glass, so I'm hoping that it will not scratch or dent. If I see any indication that it will get damaged, I will likely buy one of those screen protectors.

So far enjoying this case. Purchased an iPhone XS Max on the Apple iPhone Upgrade plan...needed a case quickly. Have used Speck laptop cases in the past but never an iPhone case from them. Does add some bulk to the already large iPhone but is fine as one goal was decent protection for a +$1,000 device. Material is high quality with 3 layers of protection, grip is very good (not likely to slip out of hand), nice design with cover for lightning port (will help avoid the 'pocket lint' problem with such ports) and rotating knob over ringer switch is very nice. Buttons in case work great, pressure required to trigger actual iPhone buttons is spot-on. No issues so far, great case overall!

This case offers great protection while not being too big or bulky. Textured surface gives you a good grip on phone. Downside to textured grip is it can be difficult to put into your pockets at times and will collect some lint and dust.

Case fits the phone well. Seems thick enough to protect but not to big and bulky. For one of the cheaper cases it’s seems well made. Overall impressed with the price and quality.

My husband loves this case. It has a non slip grip, protects ( according to the package) from a drop from good distance and isn’t bulky. It seems to be a good fit.

I love this one. Great grip, doesn't fade in color. This is one of my favorite cases. I use this one more than any of the others and it also protects the phone well.

Love the color and feel of the case! Super easy to put on. Only downfall is it attracts animal hair pretty easily.

I’m pleased that I purchased this case. My last few cases have also been Speck, so I knew that I was getting a quality product that would be able to withstand my clumsiness. At the time when I 1st bought this case, the new iPhone XS had just come out and there really wasn’t a big selection of cases to choose from. So, when I first purchased this case, I must admit I was a little bummed bc of the somewhat not very exciting look, however it’s come to grow on me and it hasn’t failed me yet. Some of the pros: It has a secure feeling grip, the material used is soft yet durable & most importantly NOT slippery. The case provides a good level of security for the controls, as well as having a plug at the bottom, for when not charging IPhone XS Max. Thus keeping out dust, dirt & H2O. Im not sure if the odd circular & protruding on/off volume dial/button is a pro or con. So for now I’ll leave it as “neutral”. So going into what kept it from receiving 5 stars is that odd dial button. That up until I started writing this review, I was not even aware that it was a ‘dial’ that you could turn, instead I assumed that the rare time that I unintentionally used the dial, I assumed that it had been accidentally pushed to the volume ‘off’. This also caught me a bit by surprise bc I couldn’t figure out why the phone wasn’t ringing until I took it out of its case. Human error on that one, so I will bump up the 4 to a 4.5. Really the reasons why I didn’t give it a 5 star rating, really has more to do w/esthetics. The aforementioned knob/dial that sticks out a bit too far & also the material that the case is made of, which I love bc it allows the user to have a sturdy grip however it takes on every fingerprint, smudge & anything else to give the case kind of a slightly messy/unpolished look. All things considered, this is a really nice case, especially for the clumsy types, like myself. Originally I was planning on getting a different case when there was more of a variety but I’ve had it for almost 4 months now and I haven’t even thought again about a new case. I think I’ll be sticking with this Speck Presidio for a while and with that; YES, I would recommend this case.

I love the color, the feel of the case and the sporty look. It’s not bulky.

It’s a little pricey for it just being a plain case but it definitely protects the phone and feels nice

This case seems like it offers pretty good protection for the size. It has a good lip around the phone to keep it from landing on its face and protects the glass on both front and back pretty well. It also allows me to keep a good grip as it is not slippery or too smooth I instead offering a somewhat rubberized feel.

Vibrant color and definitely kept my phone protected. It was a tad heavy.
