It was really protective and I know speck for being a good company. Now, 6 months after purchase, it’s stayed mostly intact, has scratches and has definitely not stayed clear. The rubber corners and lining have become brown and a little chuck of rubber has broken off the bottom. I requested a new one from speck as their lifetime warranty allows me to, but had a mix up and they sent me a wrong case. Now this was partially my fault as I sent them the wrong information so I don’t count that against them, but they weren’t the nicest people about it. They told me that this was the last replacement case I could get (even though it’s a lifetime warranty). Now that the replacement case has done the exact same as the original I’m getting a different case.
