Not the same as the older version

The ribs are no longer the soft rubber but are molded out of the same hard plastic as the shell. Its still a nice case but I prefer the old version.

It's amazing how the technology continues to race forward. Due to my job I heavily use my devices and this doesn't disappoint!

Bad redesign of what used to be a great case.

The "grip" lines on the back and side of the case used to be soft rubber that provided actual grip. Now it's the same slick plastic that the rest of the case is made of. There is also only a fraction of an inch of clearance between the lip of the camera cutout and the glass of the camera. I don't have any confidence when I set the phone down that the camera glass will be raised up enough to be protected.
