It is plain looking, but not slippery to hold and fits the phone snuggly. Its rubbery texture and ridges make it easy to hang onto. Overall a very good protective case!

good case, gets kinda dirty but that's to be expected. easy to spot because of fun color. dropped it and it prpotects it.

Pros: solid feel, raised lip around front screen and rear cameras, just enough grip to stay in hand without getting dirty from pocket lint, Speck claims 13 feet of drop protection Cons: power button feels mushy (unlike the one on the 12 mini I traded in with the same case, which felt solid)

I used to hate that the Speck cases would have that rubber grip that lifted off the back of the phone. It would peel off over time and just generally drove me crazy. Big fan of the new design having those areas indented, rather than raised.
