The grip is excellent plus the color is something my sister really enjoyed. Coming from Speck you know you can trust the quality and durability of it.

Good protection, kinda slippery

But the case is hard plastic and not very grippy. It does have grooves to help hang on, but the older Speck cases had soft rubber in those grooves that made it so easy to hang onto the phone.
