Great case. Fits perfectly and has a sleek look. It did get scratched very easily which is a bummer. I figured since it was made out of great materials it would have a bit more durability. Besides it scratching easily, it overall is a great case.

Sleek, and very protective case to prevent any scratches or blemishes to the exterior of the MacBook. It is hardly noticeable at all due to be being very thin and clear. Does not detract from the MacBook with also providing openings for USB-C and Headphone plugs. The rubber feet on the bottom are secure, and wide to provide plenty on ventilation and no slip. Very easy to install, and stays securely attached.

I've used several Speck cases in the past. They seem to be a bit thicker/heavier than other cases which is good for protection and durability, but bad for weight/thickness. I know that most people want to show off a gold MacBook and that's why they only have a clear or black option, but my wife got a silver MacBook and I wish there were more color choices for the case.

Fits great and does it's job. Looks good and protects the finish of the Macbook.

I am having the best time learning this new technology. My last laptop was a tiny Acer that I used to death. This new Lenovo is so fast and user friendly.

Looks great fits perfectly, the plastic does get scratch off easily so for stetic just get a second case to transport it around

I have used Speck cases before with my MacBook Pro and phones. They work as advertised and keep from scratching.

It's a decent case that fits the Macbook very well, but it cracked the first day of use. It's a small crack in the top corner, but a crack nonetheless. Aggravating! I'd probably buy one a little sturdier next time.

the case is very sturdy and my daughter loves it. she can still have the gold lap top LOOK while still being protected !

Had purchased a new MacBook 12" and wanted a low profile yet protective cover for it. I did the usual online research and decided on the Speck Shell Case. So far the case has been just what I wanted, low profile, great fit and protection! Even with the case on, my MacBook 12" is still super low-profile....thanks Speck!

There are only 2 protective cases for a 12 inch. This one and another by a different maker just like this. It is great for scratch protection, is a very snug fit so does not add any thickness or weight to the original laptop. There are no other cases, i.e. the Thulle with protective bumpers, for the 12 inch, so as of 8-9/16, I did an extensive search and this is the only one available. Purchased it because did not want 12 inch getting all scratched up and it is doing its job, just no drop/liquid protection.

This fits my MacBook! If you want protection for your MacBook, this shell case is highly recommended.

I bought this case for my gold 12" Macbook because I wanted the color to show through. I love the look and it has definitely protected my computer from day to day dirt, dust, etc.; however, the corners do crack easily. I didn't expect that coming from a case that costs $50.

I love, love, love this Shell case!!! It shields my Macbook perfectly from any bumps and bangs to keep it looking just marvelous in it's rose gold glory at all times! Without Speck Shell case this would be an impossibility. Thank you Speck for you AWESOMENESS!!!!!! Best protective case EVER!!!!!

This is a great cover and is reasonably priced. Easy to install and look good on the MacBook.
