I take my MacBook with me to college and I only transport it in the padded sleeve of my laptop book bag but all 4 corners already have hairline fractures/cracks splintering towards the middle of the case. I've only had this case for 7 months and with no abnormal use, this feels pretty cheap for it to already be cracking. Seeing other reviews, it seems this is the normal and I should expect for the corners to crack any day now so I'll keep it until then but once this case is done, I won't be buying another one from this brand.

Case broke right after 1-yr warranty deadline

Unfortunately, this occurred right after the 1-year warranty, and Speck declined to assist or offer further support. Even so, the clear case was nice when it lasted and felt sturdy— just be aware it might not do well under frequent use or last past a year.
