I've thankfully only had one drop onto carpet from a bed, but the case and laptop were both totally fine. Also, if it gets cold then the case helps protect your hands from that.

The corner of the case is the only broken part resulting from that drop. I will always place my laptop in a Speck case for protection. It is light weight and comes in a variety of colors and designs.

Bought Macbook Air 15, gorgeous but must have a case if gou cant stand fingerprints. Had to buy both grey and clead because pics were showing opposite color if description. I likes the quality thought i wished it was lighter. The “Clear” color is not clear, makes midnight color look space gray. Gray color looked good but wanted an actual clear case. Recommend for people with silver or space grey
