Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cracks from light usage. I do not drop my Mac, and daily use/ temperature change causes warpage. Crack in middle of plastic, clearly not from dropping. (Clear in pic) It is only ever the top piece that warps, NEVER the bottom piece of the case. Quality control on iphone cases seems to be far better than in this department. I've spoken to Speck directly, and replaced the case once already. This will be the second time it is being replaced under the warranty. Do not recommend, coming from a fellow tech advisor.

It arrived with a scratch across the top, and developed a crack (on a middle edge, not even a corner) after just a week of normal/gentle use. I would recommend Incase over this product – although my Incase shell did crack over several years, it held up longer and I liked that the dot texture hid fingerprints, unlike this Speck shell.
